Every Spring, enjoy the best figure skaters from Notre Dame and St. Mary's as they perform for the public in "Irish On Ice" Show with Irish Synchronized Skating Team. See the power and precision of skating @ Notre Dame Compton Family Ice Arena, 100 Compton Center, @E. Angela Blvd. & Joyce Drive, southeast corner of Notre Dame campus. The 2015 Ice Show was held on March 22, 2015. A five dollar admission will be charged.

During the Summer many of the events are outdoors in downtown and its parks. don't miss at the corner of Michigan and Jefferson, Red Table Plaza Concert Series at lunchtime featuring local singers or the Outdoor Music series at Battel Park. Beuter Riverfront Park hosts its own concert series at 400 North Spring Street in Mishakawa. A rather spooky but not less interesting event is the Crimes and Misdemeanors Cemetery Tour as the graves of people involved in crimes are visited and their stories told.

In a much lighter tone, Osceola Bluegrass Festival offers three days of music food and crafts in the third week of August. An event that you shouldn't miss if the Fridays by the Fountain concerts organized by the Morris Performing Arts Center; enjoy the live music while you have your lunch on the lawn.  

And, in Winter, don't miss Christmas Tea at the Queen Anne Inn, a classical five o'clock tea (you need to make reservations in advance). Ice skating opens the day after Thanksgiving at Howard Park outdoor skating rink. Skate year round at Notre Dame's Compton Family Ice Arena. Public skate usually Sundays at 2 PM.
