Shoppers in Cedar Rapids will find plenty of unique and interesting stores and boutiques in the city to choose from including several art galleries, crafts stores, gourmet food shops and German and Czech import stores.  The city also has more basic shopping available such as large malls and department stores such as J.C. Penney and Target.

One popular store for visitors to the city is the Czech Village which sells a number of imported Czech items such as crystal and glassware, garnet jewelry and Royal Dux figurines.  The shop is located in downtown Cedar Rapids on 16th Avenue S.W. and is open seven days a week.  See their website for more information.

Another hidden gem is located in the old carriage house on the Brucemore estate, Iowa's only National Trust Historic Site. More than a museum gift shop, the Brucemore Store offers seasonal home decor, classic gifts, hostess gifts, children's toys and books, fresh floral arrangements from the Cutting Gardens Flower Shop, and local artisinal gifts, in addition to Brucemore mementos. Located at 2160 Linden Drive SE, Cedar Rapids, the Brucemore Store is open seven days a week, March through December, and Tuesday through Saturday in January and February.

The Lindale Mall is a large shopping center with over 100 stores located just outside of the main part of the city.  Lindale offers, in addition to shopping, several banks and restaurants.  The mall also hosts special events, such as a bridal expo each fall.  See the mall's website for a complete listing of stores, hours and directions.
