The climate in Camden is considered temperate, which means that the city experiences four distinct seasons.  Although Camden can be visited throughout the year, there are certain months during which the weather is much more comfortable than others.

On average, the hottest months of the year are July and August, during which time the daily high temperatures will hover around the mid to upper 70’s.  The nighttime temperatures during this time will generally drop to the mid to upper 50’s.  These stats show that the summers in the city are fairly mild.

The coldest months of the year are generally January and February, during which time the daily high temperatures will be right around the freezing mark.  Nighttime temperatures will drop to the teens during the cold part of the winter.

During every month of the year, the chance of rain is fairly good (rain or snow in the winter months).  The wettest months of the year however are November and December.

Many people say that the best times of the year to visit are during late spring or early fall, during which time the climate is comfortable and the leaves are either blooming or changing color.
