With everything from dancing to drinks to drag shows, Provincetown’s nightlife is definitely more active than the average town with a population under 4,000. Whether you’re young or old, gay or straight, a first-time visitor or perennial P-Towner, you’ll definitely be able to find something that’s to your liking after dark.

Touted as “Provincetown’s premier entertainment complex,” the Crown and Anchor , centered around the inn of the same name, is a complex that includes some of the town’s most popular nightlife spots—including the Paramount, P-Town’s largest nightclub, Wave, a video bar with tons of mounted TV screens, and the Vault, all oriented towards the Gay and Lesbian Scene.

More low key, the Library Lounge at the Crowne Point Inn , with its elegant interior, wonderful views of the surrounding town and jazz piano, is a great place to gather for a few drinks with friends. Also worth checking out is the inn’s restaurant next door, which shares the lounge’s mahogany-lined interior and excellent wine list.

Another popular spot, the Governor Bradford is a traditional bar…with a P-Town Twist, of course. Every summer night at 9:30, the bar hosts drag karaoke.
