Petoskey has been a resort town since the 1800s and has grown with tourists in mind. Its festivals are not only major highlights for the locals but, for the regular visitors who trek to the charming town to celebrate with them. Check out some of these great events and come partake as well!

One of the biggest events of the year is the Petoskey Festival on the Bay. The city prides itself on providing free large live concerts, a parade of people on the waterfront, and tons of tasty local treats. There is also a craft fair, competitions, and even a triathlon. The festival takes place annually mid-August.

The summer is truly when the majority of festivals take place as Petoskey is a summer getaway. Check out more of these parties taking place in the sunny, warm months:

  • Concerts in the Park runs from mid June to mid-August and takes place at the Pennsylvania Park Gazebo
  • The Big Art & Crafts Show is in mid- August
  • Farmer's Market takes place all summer

But winter isn't let out completely. There are parades and the Holiday Open House from late November through the holidays.
