Reflecting the diversity of its tenants and visitors, Saugatuck houses a variety of choices when it comes to eating out. Casual eateries, fine dining, waterfront patio restaurants, and international cuisine are all available here. The Scottish Golf Club offers fine dining, while the Regal Golf Club offers a casual cottage-style eatery. Coral Gables, one of the better waterfront restaurants, offers visitors classic American food on the deck, and also has verandas, a bar, dance club, and live music. Marro's Italian Restaurant is a great choice for pizza and spaghetti, and has a hopping dance floor to boot. Junk food is never far away in Saugatuck, which only offers the finest in sweets and salties. Old fashioned hand-cremed sodas are available at the Saugatuck Drug Company, and a pie shop and cookie shop offer home-made varieties of each. Downtown Saugatuck has a Kilwins, which serves the thickest, creamiest ice cream in a great variety of flavors, and also offers chocolate and fudge. Be mindful of your intentions post ice cream, since many of the shops around Kilwin's do not allow patrons to enter while mawing.
