Historical Combarro village is only 7 km west of Pontevedra, easily and comparatively inexpensively reached by taxi. The main attraction is beautifully restored Galician fishermans' village with original buildings. With narrow streets (some of them ending directly into the lagoon), dainty houses, numerous horreos (about thirty in this small place), little chapel built on rock it brings you back to the olden times. Now it is well-visited by tourists, with plethora of souvenir shops, galleries and eateries. It may be very crowded sometimes, but it is stil possible to loose yourself in one of these narrow streets/passages and breath the atmosphere of the place.
