The Church of San Roman is located at the Plaza de la Iglesia. The church was constructed in 1522 in the Catalan Gothic style. In 1916 Narcis Galats asked the architect Bonaventura Conill, a disciple of Gaudi, to reconstruct the chapel. Unfortunately during the Civil War in 1936 the church suffered much damage. The church has the images of the 12 Apostles created in a Venetian mosaic. These were saved during the Civil War because somebody painted the mosaics with black paint to save them from the vandals.
