Although Devizes no-longer has a rail station, it is well served by the following bus services:
To Bath - Faresaver service X72 (runs during the daytime every day except Sundays and Public Holidays) + First service 271 (runs evenings & Sundays / Public Holidays)
To Chippenham - APL Travel service 33 (runs every day except Sundays and Public Holidays)
To Salisbury - Wilts & Dorset service 2 (runs every day except Sundays and Public Holidays)
To Swindon - Stagecoach service 49 (runs every day)
To Trowbridge - Stagecoach service 49 (runs every day except Sundays and Public Holidays)
To London - National Express 402 (runs once per day, every day)
All of the above services (except the 402) run approximately every hour on weekdays. In addition, there are occasional buses to Westbury (service 87), Marlborough and Pewsey (Connect 2 Wiltshire).
If you are travelling by train to Devizes, you will need to take a train to Swindon, Bath or Salisbury and pick up a bus there - the bus services from these towns to Devizes are much more frequent than from Chippenham, Pewsey or Westbury which may appear to be closer !
