There are many great Museums and attractions in Columbia SC. The Columbia Museum of Art is located in the heart of downtown on Main Street. The SC State Museum is located on Gervais and offers an extensive look into history of SC and Natural history. The South Carolian Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum, located in the same building, houses South Carolina military history from the American Revolution through current conflicts. In the same parking lot as the SC State Museum is EdVenture Children's Museum, the home of EDDIE, the world's largest child, where kids will have fun and learn at the same time.  Columbia has many historical attractions including, the South Carolina State House located on Main and Gervais, the Governor's Mansion located on Richland Street and the Robert Mills House on Blanding Street. Attractions in Columbia include Plex Indoor Sports, an indoor sports facility that includes turf fields and an indoor skate park. Outdoor Parks include Finlay, Saluda Shoals and Seven Oaks Park. The Riverbanks Zoo offers gardens, natural woodlands and amazing animals!
