For the person who wants to get in a walk, run or bike ride, nowhere beats Nashville's Warner Parks. Access from Hwy 100. There are both woods trails and paved trails that wind through the woods. Maps are available at the Nature Center. The terraine is such that you can walk for a solid twenty minutes uphill to get that cardio thing going.
In mid to late March the Bluebells make a spectacular appearance in Edwin Warner on the paved trail.
Note that as of July 1, 2010 some areas of the park are closed because of damage caused by the May flood.
Also accessable at the Edwin Warner entrance from 100 is the greenway trail. No hills and paved for miles. Enjoy.
