Jacksonville is a town with plenty of places to shop. Whatever you need, there is a store for you. From large malls to small specialty shops and boutiques to Florida's oldest farmers market, you will enjoy spending money in Jacksonville .

Jacksonville 's newest shopping experience is St. Johns Town Center , located off of J. Turner Butler Blvd on Jacksonville's Southside. St. Johns Town Center is the newest shopping and dining concept in Jacksonville.  It is an open-air, lifestyle and entertainment center...a new concept in the shopping experience.

Anthropologie, bebe, Sephora, J Crew, Coldwater Creek, Hollister, Apple, Gap, Pandora, Banana Republic and Barnes and Noble, as well as the stores of the Luxury Collection at St. Johns Town Center including Louis Vuitton, OMEGA, Tiffany & Co., Michael Kors, True Religion Jeans and Mayors Jewelers, are just but a few of the 175 tenants found at the Town Center.

St. Johns Town Center has also become a significant dining hotspot in Jacksonville with PF Changs, Maggiano's  Little Italy, The Capital Grille, J. Alexander's and The Cheesecake Factory are among the center's many dining options.

If you're looking for H&M, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Bandolino, Charming Charlie's, Abercrombie & Fitch and a plethora of mall favorites, The Avenues  has it. There is plenty of parking, with a parking garage attached to Dillard's...a food court to refresh you when you are feeling weak from all that shopping and some nice people that are happy to help you shop.

The Avenues  is located at the junction of Philips Highway and Southside Blvd , right off of Interstate -95.

If big malls aren't your thing, check out some of the unique, locally owned shops in Jacksonville's historic districts. In Five Points in the Riverside area, there are a couple of funky clothing stores offering everything from vintage clothes to high-end design. Nest is a wonderful little store selling furniture and accessories for the modern home--think Herman Miller, Cherner--Design Within Reach stuff.

In the Avondale shops just down the road, along St. Johns Avenue, there are two terrific women's shoe stores, great women's clothing stores (J. Ashley, Petal, and Clover, to name a few), a couple of antique shops, two amazing stores dedicated to children's clothes (Willie's and Hobby Horse--adorable), a European Garden shop, and lots of great restaurants where you can grab a cocktail and sit outside after your successful shopping.

Florida's oldest public farmers market and largest (up to 25,000 visitors weekly) according to a State survey, Jacksonville Farmers Market is at 1810 W. Beaver Street (1 mile west of I-95/Dowtown Jax and one mile north of I-10/Riverside).  This market is open EVERY day of the year, even holidays, from 7 AM to 6 PM.  It features covered sheds & drive up parking for the region's widest selection of local, ethnic, and specialty produce, seafood, baked goods, plants, and other food and agricultural products. Retail & wholesale. Andy's Farmers Market Grill and ATM on premises.

While you are on Beaver Street (US90 west) head west to Marietta and visit a really unique furniture and home decor store. Furniture and More, located at 257 Jones Road, is locally owned and operated and it is definitely not your average furniture store! They have great one of a kind items in their converted livestock barn. Be prepared to spend some time here, it's worth the trip!
