If you fly into Greensboro, you’ll arrive in Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO). The airports is conveniently located at the crossroads of Interstates 40, 85 and the soon to be completed 73 and 74 and services the whole Piedmont Triad region that includes the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point.

American Eagle, Contiental Express, Delta, Northwest, United and United Express, US Airways and Us Airways Commuters have direct and connecting flights from New York (La Guardia), Washington DC, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Orlando, Houston, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and St.Paul Missouri.

The airport operates a convenient shuttle service that will take you to the three important cities of the region. You need to make reservation in advance 48 hours prior to your arrival or departure either online at www.ptiairporttransportation.com or calling 1-877-796-5466.

If you decide to travel by train, you can take the Carolinian (servicing the Carolinas), the Piedmont (running North Carolina to New York ) or the Crescent (running from New York to New Orleans). If you arrive by bus, the Greyhound will stop at modern bus station (shared with the railway station) The Depot, a modern facility inaugurated in 2003 located at at 236-C East Washington Street in downtown.
