Natchez is on the border of Louisiana in the southwest corner of Mississippi. Flying to the city is best done by either arriving in Baton Rouge or Jackson.
The Jackson International Airport is located about 100 miles away from Natchez making it an ideal place to fly in. Upon arriving at the airport in Jackson there are several rental car companies available such as the following:
If it is easier from your original location however; flying into Baton Rouge Airport is also an easy option and is even slightly closer than Jackson, being 90 miles away.
Two major 4-lane highways - U.S. Highways 61 and 84 - intersect at Natchez, but the popular way to get here is by a historic national parkway, the beautiful Natchez Trace. Interstate Highways 55, 20, 10 and 49 are all within a short drive.
