Spacious country villa, perfect setting for a family holiday in Switzerland. Located in pretty village in Vaud, 20 minutes and one exit from Geneva, even closer to Lake Geneva, and 5 minutes to the French spa of Divonne-les-Bains, another tourist resort and small market town.

The villa is surrounded by a mature private garden with shady terrace and barbecue, and ample off-road parking. From the house and its balcony, there are views of farmland, forest and mountains. Yet there is a modern shopping centre 5 minutes away at Chavannes-de-Bogis, as well as golf courses, a riding school and many outdoor attractions. The local area is a base for many international staff and expats working in Geneva or Lausanne, with the International School of Geneva Châtaigneraie campus also 5 minutes away.

About the neighbourhood
Our little Swiss village is in beautiful countryside, close to the French border at Divonne-les-Bains, and close to Lake Geneva at Coppet, at the first exit of the motorway from Geneva, only 20 minutes from Geneva airport or downtown Geneva. The views are the French Alps across the Lake, including Mont Blanc, with the Jura mountains behind us. In Divonne you can shop at the local market for fresh local produce, especially cheeses, with a large French supermarket 5 minutes away. There are lovely walks in the woods, trips on the Lake, and both cities of Geneva and Lausanne close by.
Getting around
The local village buses link to Coppet station and the train station to Geneva, the airport, Nyon, Lausanne and the Lake resorts, with taxis as well. A car makes the most of the beautiful wine villages and famous Swiss holiday sights.
