Cherry Tree Lodge is located in a secluded and elevated position on Skiddaw View Holiday Home Park and overlooks the Dobby Quarry and has stunning views towards Skiddaw and the Northern Fells from the enclosed private veranda, patio area and hot tub!

Cherry Tree Lodge sleeps four people in a double bedroom and twin bedroom. The master double bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room. The twin bedroom has two single beds, bedside table and fitted wardrobes.

Fantastic location ,park was very peaceful lodge was stunning had everything we needed and more. About the neighbourhood
Bassenthwaite Lake is owned by the National Park Authority and is one of the largest measuring in at almost 4 miles long and ¾ mile wide; but also one of the shallowest with a maximum depth of around 70ft. Incidentally Bassenthwaite Lake is the only Lake District lake that has the word 'lake' in its proper title; with others having the word water or mere being substituted name for 'lake'. There has been speculation that Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwent Water in Keswick were once one larger lake.<BR><BR>It is also said that Bassenthwaite Lake is home to the Eachy: a species of Lake Monster - a large humanoid being of gruesome and slimy appearance.
