Storage shed for bikes. Pretty, fenced lawned garden with patio, furniture & BBQ. Shared picnic table by lake. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shop & pub 1.5 miles. Note: Unfenced pond 100 yards away - children must be supervised at all times. Note: Tennis & fishing by arrangement with owner & only for guests staying at Great Lyth Farm Cottages. Note: This property accepts max. 4 adults and 2 children. Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was 'the quietest place under the sun' and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England. Town: Three of Shropshire's loveliest hills Stiperstones, Caradoc and the Long Mynd are close to the hamlet of Great Lyth. This is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and visitors can enjoy its attractions in a variety of ways, from rambling or riding to touring by car. There is plenty for the entire family to enjoy here, and famous local attractions include the Wroxeter Roman City, Stokesay Castle and Ironbridge World Heritage Centre. Shrewsbury, with its shops, pubs, restaurants, pubs and riverside beautiful architecture, is just five miles away.
