What a lovely quaint house!! From the outside, it looked like and old cottage and we were very pleasantly surprised as soon as we stepped inside. Without taking away from the old exterior, the owner has renovated the house exceptionally and used every nook and cranny to the best of it's advantage.
The house is on 4 floors and, if you have any walking difficulties or a pram to negotiate, the stairs would be tricky. Our kids are 12, 8 and 6 and we all loved it. Lovely property in a beautiful location. House has everything you need and the owner is quick to respond to any questions you may have. Elne itself is a lovely place but it is also ideal as a base for exploring the region.

We travelled with our child who is 5 and my mother who has difficulty walking. I was really nervous about our child because of the stairs so wouldn't recommend for families with younger children or to anyone who has difficulty using stairs. The owner did tell us there were 4 floors so this was an oversight on our behalf.

Overall we were very happy with the property and with the correspondence we had with the owner. Rooftop terrace has beautiful views :)
