The Cider House is situated in the idyllic historic Shakespearian village of Wilmcote Warwickshire and is only 250 meters from the magnificent Tudor Farm House of Mary Arden,the Mother of William Shakespeare, the Local Store and Train Station. Set within the grounds of Kirkside the oldest dwelling in Wilmcote dating back to circa1405.
The Cider House is a purpose built holiday home constructed in 2011 using modern construction methods and where possible reclaimed materials it retains the feel and charm of an old building.
The ground floor with its open plan design contains a luxury fitted kitchen, with its oak beamed ceiling it comes very well equipped with a quality dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with ice box, oven, microwave, oak worktops and karndean floor covering, together with a good assortment of utensils (its even got a thermos flask).
The lounge has an oak beamed ceiling, a very comfortable 2 seater settee, a winged armchair, remote control LPG log stove, Quality oak furniture, Samsung Slim Allshare 32'LED 1080 freeview HD TV , Bluray Player, SKY HD +SKY Sports HD 1-4, SKY Movies and F1 HD. A small up to date Bluray Film Library, Music CD. .Free High Speed Fibre Optic Broadband. and Secure WIFI, books and board games.
The ground floor is very light and airy and its open plan design creates a good spacious feeling.

The staircase leads you to the bedroom, with its reclaimed pine floor boards,quality King Size Bed with 6' leather frame and 25cm Tempur Cloud Memory Foam Mattress, ceiling mounted Samsung Slim Allshare 1080 Freeview 32' LED, HD freeview TV with HDMI cable for laptop connection, dressing table, chest of draws, bedside cabinets and lots of well lite cupboard storage. Velux window with black out blind and a gable window over looking the gardens and St Andrews Church.

We stayed here for a quiet celebration on my wife’s 70th birthday. It’s an ideal location for Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick. Good calming walks, the cider House is opposite the church, where we enjoyed a Sunday morning service. Overall a wonderful stay , thoroughly enjoyable everything...More

Cider House is excellent accommodation for two people. It has most things to ensure your stay is easy and comfortable. The house was well equipped and warm. A lovely touch was the Welcome basket of tasty food items and a bottle of wine !
Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare is one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK, a perfect place for a vacation or short break.
The birthplace of England's greatest poet and playwright, the town is still an important market town in Warwickshire. Many of the original houses from Shakespeare's time are still in excellent condition, being preserved by the Shakespeare birthplace trust.
Stratford Upon Avon and surrounding areas offers a wealth of places to visit of historic interest, many tourist attractions and plenty of theatres shops and restaurants.
In the adjoining town of Warwick which is situated 8 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. You will find and can visit Warwick Castle which is the finest mediaeval castle in England.
