This is our light and airy loft space which we call Cervantes after the great Spanish playwright. It occupies the top floor of our three story town house and sleeps two people. It's a light and airy accommodation with a contemporary open plan feel. It has a lovely terrace with stunning views.

The accommodation is furnished with modern furniture, wooden floors and original art works. The sleeping area has a very comfortable king size bed. Interaction with guests
You will be met at the apartment by our key-holder who will show you in and give you the information you need. She lives round the corner and is on hand for emergencies and speaks Spanish and English. Otherwise, unless you need her, you will have your own space. We are there occasionally and so we may be around but, unless you need us, you will be left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet.

About the neighbourhood
Alhama de Granada is a lively town of cultural and historic importance and we live right at the centre of it. This old part of the town is a labyrinth of cobbled streets bordered by mellow stone churches, ancient buildings and bubbling fountains. On the outer edge a spectacular gorge with ruined flour mills makes for a stunning walk.
The houses are all in the traditional Andalucian style: whitewashed walls, terracotta tiled roofs and wrought iron balconies filled with flowers. A short walk away from the house you will find tapas bars, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. On Friday the local market takes place. There is everything you need here for a great relaxing holiday.
Getting around
To make the most of the area you really need a car. That way you can go to swim in Lake Bermajeles, visit neighbouring towns and have a day out at the coast. However, many people come by bus and it's perfectly possible to arrive on public transport. While in Alhama there are plenty of walks or cycle rides straight from our door. If you do want to get further afield we can recommend a taxi firm.
