An immaculate holiday home perfect for relaxing in, as well as entertaining .
With four bedrooms and a spacious living room together with a beautifully maintained secluded garden it is perfect in whatever weather conditions the isle of Wight offers.
It is also a great pleasure dealing directly with the owner, a refreshing change from dealing with holiday agencies.
Three of us have shared an Isle of Wight holiday for many a Summer in various locations and houses.
Lane End Cottage is undoubtedly the very best amongst them.

Perfect holiday retreat
Clean, welcoming holiday retreat.
Great location.
Everything you need for a wonderful holiday.
Downstairs bedroom and wet room, great for grandparents.
A beach that has both sand and rockpools, perfect for children, also suitable for swimming. Lovely little café on the beach, covid safe, good service.

Great holiday base; spacious and homely cottage in an ideal location.
For a three generation family holiday this cottage had everything we needed. It was spacious and homely and the perfect base to get out and explore the Isle of Wight on foot, bicycle or by car/public transport. The accommodation was faultless and welcome gifts much appreciated. Thank you - we would love to book again in the future.

Perfect!
We loved our stay in the cottage as we had previously visited Bembridge over the previous years and we love it there. The cottage was a home from home with everything you would need. Conveniently located. Peter was the perfect host and was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Peter. X

A home from home
Lovely large cottage, well equipped and comfortable with a secluded back garden. Easy walk to the beach (foreshore when the tide is in as it gets completely covered) and a very good Co-op. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect - ticked every box!
Late booking as our Majorca trip was cancelled due to Covid-19.
What an absolute gem - this beautiful spacious cottage is perfectly located a few hundred yards from the awesome Bembridge beach, which will suit every age. And a lifeboat station thrown in to give extra interest - recommend a walk along the pier to the lifeboat as you get a fabulous view of the coastline and it’s a great spot for crabbing! A short walk (turn right) along the beach there is a little seafood cafe overlooking the beach ( just beyond the Crab & Lobster pub) - opened on the day we departed so didn’t get to try but the reviews look good. Great local pubs within walking distance - if you want good food and a great atmosphere try the Old Village Inn on the high street! A 5-10mins drive away you will find the Propellor Inn overlooking the light aircraft airfield - awesome food and friendly staff.
Could not fault anything about this cottage and location. We look forward to staying here again some day - a big thank you to Peter (the owner) who was very pleasant and helpful.

Lovely property.
Had a great time in this lovely property. Facilities at the house were very good and useful and the furniture was very comfortable.
However,my wife has mobility problems and was not able to get out of the bed without help, due to it being a low bed. It was a real benefit having a shower room downstairs but the same problem was encountered with the toilet facility. Our fault,
we should have made enquiries about this before booking.Having said this, it did not spoil our holiday.
The owner supplied a welcome bottle of prosecco and also a bottle of milk. Thank you Peter for this.
The house could have been cleaned to a better standard as there were many cobwebs situated in many of the rooms.
Having said all this, the house had style and we enjoyed our stay.It is in a great location, near to the sea and shops and is a charming village and an ideal base to explore the rest of the island.
We were supplied with a contact number so if we needed assistance at any time, help was at hand.
This was our first experience of the Isle of Wight and we were not disappointed. We will be back.
Thank you Peter.

Bembridge is a coastal village on the eastern tip of the island. Bembridge harbour has two sailing clubs and is renowned for sailing and other water sports.
The village offers excellent food shopping including a locally sourced greengrocers and fishmongers, artisan bakers, family butchers and has a wide variety of restaurants.
The beach stretches from the harbour along the tree lined coast to Lane End where the lifeboat station is located and beyond to the stunning cliffs at Whitecliff Bay. Along this beautiful stretch of coast are a number of beach cafes and the Crab and Lobster pub at Forelands.
There are local stables offering horse-riding for all levels of rider.
And the historic Bembridge Windmill, owned by the National Trust is the only remaining windmill on the island and is open to the public.
