A lovely cottage in a really picturesque setting. The peacocks and ducks kept the children amused. Cottage was cosy and we'll kitted out.

Nice property in excellent location. Nice walks right from the doorstep. Pub within easy walking distance. The cottage would have been perfect with a little more attention to detail. In particular the cleaning of the kitchen can be improved. Half a role of toilet paper is indeed not very generous. All small issues, but still.

Management response:

Points noted. Although there was a brand new loo roll left on the shelf next to the toilet so perhaps you didn't see that?

Stayed here for a few days so we could attend a wedding in Hayfield. Wow - what a setting. The house is part of a semicircular converted stable block and is set in beautiful National Trust land. Woodburning stove, good wifi, everything you need for a relaxing stay, with a proper oven, fridge and freezer. We'll be back.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you
