Lovely Gite in the quiet and peaceful village of Fuilla. Exploring the lower parts of the Canigou Massif was fantastic. Really enjoyed a relaxing break, views all around were beautiful. Penny's suggestions on walks were great and helped us explore this magnificent region.

It benefits from being located so close to the Canigou mountain giving walkers and cyclists a great starting point for some fantastic tours. So why not give it a go and walk to Pic du Canigou!
The house is a short drive (4 km) from the recently nominated UNESCO world heritage site of Villefranche-de-Conflent. A grocery store can be found in the nearby village of Sahorre, which is easy walk or bike ride (available on site), so it’s easy to forget about the car for a few days, relax and unwind. Easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra ensures that the area can be explored.

The Catalan summer school takes over the town for two weeks in August, and there is dancing in the square every night during this period.
