Traditional 18th century cottage originally built for the village Postmaster with the Post Office next door. Nestling under the fells in Great Langdale Valley, the cottage contains 4 bedrooms and a Games room. A well-stocked village shop, cafe & traditional country pub are all within 200 metres. Fell walks are 2 mins away. Riverside walks are 1 min away. BROADBAND WIFI, Sky TV, LOG BURNING STOVE, Games room with pool table, Nintendo Wii & 32" TV, Table football. The only garden with the cottage is the small one to the front.

Lovely cottage in a lovely village with good well stocked shop and good friendly pub in a very short walking distance. Cottage is very well equipped with all you could wish for and dog friendly. We were concerned about only one bathroom but fortunately two toilets so no problem. Beds very comfortable and only the sheep as an alarm- peaceful....

Many thanks for the review. I always smile when I see the local sheep amble by in the middle of the road seemingly totally unconcerned with any traffic! Pity you had a few wet days but it sounds as though it didn't stop you getting out there and enjoying yourself - good on you.

Great location. Clean rooms. Clear directions and information from owner. We were also lucky to have great weather for most of the time.
