We have teamed up the very popular Stables with the cosy Shepherds Hut to offer an extra bedroom so both combined they comfortably sleep 4.
The Stables and The Hut combined is a unique holiday option, The Stables is a wonderful historic galleried converted stable and the beautiful Shepherds Hut sits just outside The Stables and shares all the modern facilities of The Stables.

Beautifully restored, the grade II* listed stable conversion is part of one of the oldest longhouses in Wiltshire dating back to the 13th century, it is also the oldest house in the village and of great historical interest.
Colerne itself is a real hidden gem, perched on a hill overlooking the Box Valley towards Bath. The active village has two pubs, a village shop, cafe, hairdresser and florist. There are also bus connections to Bath and the market town of Chippenham, both providing fast train links to London.
For days out, Bristol, Westonbirt Arboretum, Longleat Safari and Adventure Park, Glastonbury, Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge, Tetbury and many more, are all within an easy hours drive.
The Stables and The Hut, with superfast WIFI, Smart TV and Smart Speaker, is a lovely relaxing place to return to after exploring the many attractions in the area.
A well-behaved dog is welcome. An additional cost of £20 per dog per stay, paid on arrival.

Daubeneys is a beautiful property with fantastic hosts. We booked the Stables, Shepherds Hut and Barn for my bridal preparations and wedding night and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Louise was a pleasure to deal with and was helpful and responsive before and during the booking.
The Stables is picturesque and quaint but also light, clean and comfortably spacious with good shower and well equipped kitchen. The hut is really cute and has a comfy bed - perfect if you're party is too large to fit in the Stables & Barn alone. We were touched to find a wedding card and bottle of bubbles on our arrival - Thank You!

Fabulous place to stay with older kids
We stayed in The Stables and Hut as a family of four - 2 adults, a 13 year old and 8 year old. My husband and I loved The Stables as it was immaculate, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. Everything about the place was just perfect, from the comfy sofa and bed, the gorgeous bathroom to the fully equipped kitchen. It even had a TV with Netflix for the kids!
Jim and Louise were fantastic hosts and were available if we needed anything, but we had total privacy so felt we had the whole place to ourselves.
The two kids loved sleeping in the Hut - it was right outside the front door of the Stables and felt very safe and secure. They loved the independence away from their parents and felt very cool staying in such a quirky place they could tell all their friends about. The hut has a double bed, electricity and a small log burner for when it is cold, but that wasn't needed.
We absolutely loved it, especially being in such a lovely village (with a great pub and bakery), surrounded by amazing countryside and so near to Bath. We will definitely be back soon.

Thank you so much Lisa for taking the time to write such a detailed review. We are so glad you had a great stay and that your girls loved the Shepherds Hut. The Hut gives a great additional bedroom for The Stables.
We look forward to seeing you all again!
Many thanks, Louise and Jim
