There are five local pubs/restaurants within walking distance, all boasting good food and prices for every pocket. There is also a small supermarket attached to the post office and a good Chinese take away - the fish and chips are excellent!

There is no shortage of things to do - ancient historic sites, zoos, gardens, castles, narrow gauge trains through the countryside, beaches, waterfalls, boat rides the list is endless.
