A charming Victorian seafront cottage in the village of Sandgate. Albion Cottage is a terraced house right on the seafront with great views over the channel. Accommodation is over 3 floors with four good size bedrooms. There are three bathrooms - two with a shower and one with a bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and there is a utility area with a washing machine. The living room opens on to a private seafront patio and has a wood burning stove and flat screen tv. The dining room seats 8 comfortably and also contains a music system.

We have our own unlimited broadband, suitable for business or pleasure.

The front two bedrooms have double beds and great views over the channel.

About the neighbourhood
Sandgate is a friendly peaceful village which has a good selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Folkestone is a pleasant twenty minute walk away along the seafront and has further pubs, cafes and restaurants including the award winning Rocksalt on the harbour front.
The Ship Inn is close to the house and is a very friendly local pub with a great restaurant, Stuart and Wendy who own it are old friends. There is also an Indian restaurant, a Thai Restaurant and various takeaway restaurants.
There are no banks in the village but the village shop has a free cashpoint and the Ship Inn will both you cashback. There are a few small food shops but the nearest supermarket is the Tesco by the motorway junction. For other shopping Folkestone and Hythe both have a wide range of shops including Wa...
Getting around
If you don't have a car the best way to get around is by bus. The house is between Hythe and Folkestone and the buses run from the High Street directly to both of these places.

Railway: Folkestone West: 2.0 km
Ferry: Dover: 16.0 km
Very easy to reach by car, just off Juntion 12 of the M20. Also very close to the Channel Tunnel terminus. The nearest station is Folkesone West which is about 20 minutes walk from the house. People have also cycled to the house from London which takes about 4 hours if you are keen!

Only 52 minutes by train from St Pancras so it is convenient if you need to make a day trip to London.
