Gribyn Cottage is a self-contained hillside cottage attached to our lovingly restored barn near Llanidloes, in the beautiful hills of Mid Wales. The views from the cottage are spectacular and you look down the Trannon Valley, whilst buzzards and red kites (as well as many other birds) go about their business in the skies and trees. It is relaxed, comfortable, cosy, very light, spacious and well equipped, to provide a complete self-catering holiday for families, couples or small groups of friends. With a woodburner in the sitting room, it's extra cosy to relax in.

Vicky's pottery studio is 2 minute walk from the cottage - where you can watch her working, browse the display area, or book a session and tap into your creative side. You'll be using her crockery in the cottage during your stay!

Outside the cottage is a small d...

About the neighbourhood
Llawryglyn is a hamlet in the Trannon valley, a stunning valley with a mixed woodland owned by The Woodland Trust. Gribyn Cottage is above the village overlooking the valley with the most amazing views (most guests stand for a while just looking at the view before even going into the cottage) - the deck area also has this view. We are close to the market towns of Llanidloes and Machynlleth, both of which have a weekly market and a number of good places to eat.
