Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Excellent
The Bell Ringers cottage is beautiful, every detail has been thought of from the lovely produce basket and goodies to the cupboard essentials. There are wonderful walks on the door step and the fantastic llandegla forest is a must. You are even supplied with a free car park pass which we made full use of . The cottage is next to a great community run shop that is well stocked with local produce and lovely coffee shop. We would recommend the Crown hotel, three Pigeons pub and The Druids Inn. Along with day trips to Chester, Mold and Llangollen . This cottage is just perfect 😀 We will definitely be back.

Everything you need in a cottage
Bellringers Cottage in Llandegla was a great place to stay-not only a beautiful cottage in a rural, friendly village but all the extras made for a lovely holiday.Carol has thought of everything-plenty of books, magazines , games, even telescope and binoculars! The welcome hamper was brilliant-enough in it to make a meal on your first night without having to shop.Community shop two doors up,well stocked and open every day.Unexpected extras in cottage include condiments, foil, kitchen roll and toiletries. Location of cottage very good for exploring North Wales, lots to see and do.

Everything you need and more!
Lovely cottage in quiet village location. Beautifully presented and a lovely warm welcome from Carol. The welcome hamper was amazing collection of essential, milk, bread, butter to set you off and desirable cake and biscuits etc to get you going! Good location for village, church opposite and community shop and cafe two doors away. The latter offering a good service both in goods and friendly staff. Cottage equipped with more than the necessary making for a very comfortable stay.

A perfect place to stay
The Bell Ringers cottage is delightful. It overlooks the church at Llandegla and is a very peaceful and comfortable place. It is has a well equipped kitchen and table and chairs outside the back door to sit out in the warmer evenings in the small garden area. Carol was really warm and welcoming and we quickly felt at home in the cottage and the area. We had a great time and would certainly come back again if we can.

Bell ringers cottage
Bell ringers came highly recommended which didn't disappoint. Fabulous cottage and a welcoming place. Thank you Carol for the warm welcome. We have all enjoyed North Wales, beautiful place and people. A fun packed week, dip in the River Dee (Carrog), went to the coast (Llundando), steam train to Corwen, a stroll around Llangollen and Ruthin. Walked the almighty Snowdon.....amazing! A fabulous time had by all (especially Roo the dog)

Home away from home
Had a fantastic 3 nights at the bell ringers cottage.Carol was a warm and helpful host who greeted us with a much appreciated welcome hamper which even had a little something for our Yorkshire terrier Betsy who joined us.The cottage had everything you would need for a break away and more and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The cottage is in a beautiful village with walks on your door step and a community shop a few doors away.Everywhere we visited was very dog friendly, we had lunch in the local pub ,The crown which is a ten minute walk.We visited Llandegla forest which was a five minute drive away .Carol supplied a parking pass which without otherwise would have cost £4.50.Only arrived home Thursday and already looking to book a return trip .would highly recommend The bell ringers cottage to anyone for a relaxing break away. Craig,Tracy,Marian,Steve and Betsy 😊😁

Lovely!
Can't fault this cottage - perfect in every way! A warm welcome awaits from Carole - she has thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay! Sadly we had to cut our stay short due to a mountain bike injury but we will return as soon as possible. Carole has gone beyond generous offering a free night to make up for our early departure! Thanks Carole - we will be back!

Wonderful Cottage, just perfect!
The cottage was spotless and our host Carol had gone the extra mile to ensure everything you could need was to hand. Even our welcome pack was tailored to our specific requirements, which was very much appreciated. The cottage was really lovely (wished that we owned it), and the bedding and towels were just like a five star hotel. We spent a long weekend here but could have stayed longer as there's plenty of places to visit, or just relaxing in the garden. Can't wait to come back, Loved it ! Thank you Carol, Best wishes from Diana, Phil and Charlie the Westie.

Walking heaven!
A lovely cottage in a lovely location overlooking the lovely church in the lovely village of Llandegla right on Offas Dyke national trail with footpaths in every direction - altogether lovely in fact! Very impressed with the pre arrival info from Carol and the warmth of the welcome when we got there too, lots of thoughtful touches including the really useful welcome hamper and temporary dog tag in case your dog gets lost. Will definitely hope to return....
