The Cottage is situated in a beautiful unspoilt medieval Cotswold non working Farm,complete with many of its original buildings,including a Dovecote. It has been recently converted from Cartsheds to the highest specification and include original exposed beams and oak flooring. This enchanting Farm has hardly changed in 400 years. Set in the Heart of the beautiful Cotswold Village of Nympsfield the cottage is 2 minutes walk of the Rose & crown,Coaley Peak escarpment View Point,giving spectacular views over the Berkeley Vale & River Severn to the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons beyond.

Stayed in tinkley cottage for a week, beautiful cottage, everything you need. Cottage is renevated sympathetically to keep lots of original features. A bathroom with huge bath which the kids loved! Also a separate downstairs shower room. Loved the comfy recliner sofas, so often we find the sofas in holidays cottages are not that comfy for relaxing in the evening...

We noticed how clean this property is as soon as we entered it. The photographs on the website give a good idea of the appearance and equipment provided. We stayed in the lovely Tinkley cottage and awoke every morning to the sound of cooing doves. The cottage is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy when the weather closes in but also light and airy and it has a well appointed kitchen. Tinkley Cottage has stoneflooring, a tinted glass frontage overlooking the yard and grassed area. Bedroom one with a kingsized bed and balcony overlooking old yard area and down the valley. Bedroom two with twin beds, in between a bathroom and toilet. Ground floor cloakroom and toilet with shower. Kitchen,breakfast bar with four stools.Lounge/dining room,two leather settees,woodburner. TV. and DVD. Radio.There is a separate back-door entrance to a covered area for out-door gear,cars,bicycles etc.

Nympsfield is on The Cotswold Way walking route, as well as many other paths. Cycling routes part of the National Cycle Network, or many off road tracks and trails.The Cotswold Water Park has many Sporting and Leisure activities to offer from Kayaking to simply paddling. The local Gliding Club is 5 mins along the lane, introductory flights are available or more extreme paragliding is done from the viewpoint at Coaley Peak. Golf- this area is a golfers paradise with 7 golf courses to choose from within 15mins drive. Interesting Events: The Severn Bore, Cheltenham Gold Cup, Giffords Circus ,Bristol Balloon Fiesta, Tall Ships, Badminton Horse Trials,Westonbirt Arboretum Festival of Wood, and Autumn Colours.

Nympsfield is ideally situated for visiting Gloucester 12 miles with its Cathedral and Docks, Cirencester 12 miles a Market town, Cheltenham 15 miles for shopping, Bristol 21 miles for SS Great Britain and the Harbour side, The Science Centre (suitable for children of all ages), Bristol Zoo and Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bath 20 miles for Roman Baths, Abbey and its famous Crescents, Oxford for its Spires and Colleges ( and Morse).
