Stylish cosy cottage on Shropshire / Worcestershire border, dog friendly

Cottage -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, England
Hop Pickers’ House is a beautiful, stylish, cosy cottage. It's a refurbishment of the old travelling hop pickers’ barn accommodation. It's what we call ‘lustic’ – rustic and full of charm, but in a luxurious kind of way. A perfect spot to relax and get away from it all!

We’re just a couple of miles from the riverside town of Tenbury Wells and a ‘stone’s throw’ from historic Ludlow, with its famous restaurants, markets and festivals.

Hop Pickers’ House is situated in a quiet rural location, on the edge of Brook Farm and surrounded by nine acres of gardens, meadow and woodland. This provides a sense of seclusion and tranquillity, as well as a perfect opportunity for a stroll before dinner, a walk with the dog or simply listen to the babbling brook.

Hop Pickers’ House has a spacious open plan layout – relax beside the wood-burni...

About the neighbourhood
We’re in a wonderful location. We're in the Teme Valley, where three of the most picturesque counties, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire, meet.

The medieval town of Ludlow is well-known for its fabulous restaurants – and every day, there's a market of one sort or another. In September, the whole town celebrates the best of local produce at the Ludlow Food Festival. And there’s Ludlow Castle, one of the first stone castles to be built in England, and nearby Stokesay Court, which played a starring role in the film ‘Atonement’. To the south, Leominster and Bromyard are famous for their vast array of antique shops.

Our local town, Tenbury Wells is known as the “town in the orchard”, an ideal point for picking up the local cider route. Tenbury also has a lovely selectio...
