This is a newly renovated flat in a listed building built in 1903, set in the peaceful village of Walkerburn with a private garden and hot tub that you will have use of during your stay. The rooms have 12' high ceilings and a wood burning stove in the lounge. The furniture is hardwood and the artwork is all original.

For mountain bikers and golfers there is an Asgard secure storage shed in the garden as well as a wash down area with hose.

The house has been completely refitted and redecorated with a new kitchen which includes a washer/dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is Gas central heating with on demand hot water.

The location is fantastic could not fault it in any way we tried the hot tub it was very good no need to try the log burner

Awesome property and extra special outdoor space. Cosy, homely luxury away from home. Loved the flat, location and artwork. Utterly unique to the Borders. Perfect!

About the neighbourhood
Walkerburn is a small village on the river Tweed about halfway between Galashiels and Peebles. Tucked in a valley it is surrounded by excellent mountain biking trails, both maintained and 'off-piste'. The tweed has seasonal fishing, passed can be purchased at the local post office. The flat itself is above a quiet members bar allowing you to go down for a relaxing drink after a good day on the hills!
Getting around
There is the 62 Bus which runs north to Peebles and Edinburgh or south to Galashiels. It leaves every half hour and is a 2 minute walk from the flat
