Villa Laranja is placed at an upmarket residential estate, close to a fabulous beach, between Almancil, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura. This holiday villa hire is a mile to Praia do Cavalo Preto and easy driving distance of restaurants, amenities, leisure facilities, places to visit and more glorious beaches. The Villa's swimming Pool has a heating system providing great leisure all over the Year, there is Wonderful gardens, patios around the villa, spectacular Portuguese traditional barbecue, swimming pool, very big plot private (4800 square metre), good access roads, Gymnasium and features for the children to play. The beach is about 1 km from the Villa, it is possible to walk from the villa to the beach in 10/15 minutes, there are more than 7 beaches nearby for 5/10 Minutes by car also. He...

Excellent Villa

The property is in a great residential location, with Lidl only a 10 minute walk away. We were allowed to access the property early to store our luggage until handover in the garage area. George any his son Francisco are highly recommended for transfer & taxi use, very reliable and friendly. The beer tap was a big decider in choosing this villa and a great attribute, we were able to order more kegs while on holiday via Filipe. The Bluetooth speaker was also used everyday The beaches nearby are great and only 15 minute walk along a dusty track. The pool is smallish but didn’t stop us using it & having fun! The outdoor volley ball court was used most evenings and brought so much fun. The gym and pool table were also well used. We would recommend the villa, our only improvements would be an extra oven due to large amount of people staying, it was hard to cook food to be ready for all at the same time.

Tolles Haus in Strandnähe!

Wir haben mit 10 Erwachsenen und 8 Kindern eine wundervolle Woche in der in Strandnähe gelegenen Villa Laranja verbracht. Das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten, modern eingerichtet und hat eine gut ausgestattete, geräumige Küche. Die Eiswürfelmaschinen der beiden Kühlschränke haben insbesondere bei unseren Kindern zu Begeisterung geführt. Unsere Teenager waren glücklich in einem kleinen separaten Haus auf dem Grundstück mit 2 Zimmern untergebracht. Ansonsten gibt es einen tollen Außensitzplatz mit Grill und zahlreiche Sport- und Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten, wie der Pool mit zahlreichen Liegen, ein Beachvolleyball-Sandplatz, ein Basketballkorb, Billard sowie ein gut ausgestatteter Fitnessraum. Der Vermieter Filipe ist sehr sympathisch und unkompliziert, so dass wir gerne wiederkommen!

Perfect Villa with everything we needed.

We were with a group of 17 friends in the villa in august 2020. The villa was just renovated and a lot of things looked new. Pros: - The gym is nice and has enough equipment for a basic workout. - The swimming pool is heathed and has enough space around it for everybody to be. - The renovated kitchen is great and the two fridges are a huge help. There is also a lot of freezer space. The dining table was pretty high for the chairs which stood there. - The outside eating area was perfect for huge groups as was the BBQ which was build in. - There is a beer tap and Filipe asked before arrival if I wanted to order some beer. It was cold and not expensive. - Each bedroom has a bathroom except for 1, those bathrooms are a good size. - The bedrooms were never to hot, the AC functioned properly. - 15 minutes walk from the beach. - No noise complaints from the neighbours when we were there. - A bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. - Filipe had no problem with us staying a bit longer on our leaving day. Cons: - Filipe can't be called and sometimes answers late on whatsapp. - The showers are pretty cold, downstairs bedrooms couldn't get hot water at all. Upstairs did sometimes. - The swimming pool had no sun after 5 when we were there.

Amazing

From start to finish the owner was unbelievably helpful. The place was as described, well equipped and with loads of extras. But what made me at ease was the contact before, during and after the stay. Nothing was too much and no question went unanswered. Would highly recommend this place not just for the facilities but for the owners helpfulness too. Thank you so much. Would love to come back again, hoping we can find a date that it’s not already filled 🤞🏼 😊

Great location and house - only a couple of issues

We were 4 families staying together with kids aged from 0-6, and have often stayed in group holiday rentals. Pros: Huge property, large communal living space out onto big grounds and good sized pool, feels v spacious Rooms are all simple, clean and well sized with nice balconies There was a mid-week housekeeping visit for clean towels and linen 2 great seating areas in garden/around pool, with really nice space and nicely placed shade etc Amazing location - 1 mile down dirt road to stunning beach with no-one else on it (in Oct), so great for kids and lovely for morning runs. Also has Lidl 2 mins away inland with easy parking. when we had no hot water for first day, Filipe's Dad promptly came to fix. Cons: Communications: Unfortunately Filipe had various problems with illness and internet issues, so on couple of occasions we tried to contact prior to holiday, didn't get a response. This only caused some worry when a really negative review appeared but he then reassured us and was helpful. Would've been nice to receive some instructions or directions, but when we messaged the day before, he sent us a map on text. When wasn't correct we were able to get corrected one, and I think we would have found the house slightly easier in daylight! The pool heater wasn't working, and was one of the reasons for choosing this property in Oct with young kids swimming, but again I think this was just unlucky as Filipe had problems getting hold of someone to fix it and was a little tricky to get replies from Filipe, but he replied on the last day that this had never happened before and apologised it wasn't functioning.. I think as it was end of season, a few things had been broken like DVD player etc Overall, we had a wonderful holiday, the area is just amazing, and the house is generally as good as it looks. We'd love to visit again, especially with a pool warm enough for kids to swim in for longer!!

Brilliant week - 10 children 12 adults

Just back from a week at laranja villa. We thoroughly enjoyed both the villa and local area esp vale de lobo as so kid friendly. Philippe sorted the 3 kegs of lager for the week which saved heavy Lidl trips. We loved the space in main villa - 22 people and it didn’t feel crowded in daytime. Kids loved the pool which smaller than picture was still great. Have a few suggestions to improve the facilities which I will email the owner but all our group supported a 4* review and would recommend to friends. We didn’t use the 2 rooms in annexe so reduced to 8 rooms - they didn’t work for leaving young kids in and just aren’t as nice as rooms in main house - otherwise a brilliant week and would love to return.

Brilliant Villa

Stayed in this Villa in June and it was brilliant, so clean and spacious, mid week maid clean, beach towels provided, full equipped kitchen and bbq, beer tab if wanted. Only a short walk down to a beautiful beach. So close to the Lidl and beautiful restaurants all around. Couldn't fault this place whatsoever, don't listen to any negative reviews as they are not true. Filipe and his father do a great job of running this and may other villas. We would definetly book back again, the kids had a ball.

Perfect villa for a schoolfriends trip

Travelled with 12 x 16 year old and 4 adults for a post GCSE holiday. The villa was absolutely perfect for our needs, not too precious but well equipped, comfortable and very clean. They made good use of the pool and the games room and the basketball hoop was very popular despite resulting in a black eye! We had several great BBQs, there was also a pizza oven in the outdoor kitchen which we didn't use. Excellent shade over the outdoor tables and sofas. Plenty of sun loungers, they also provided pool towels. The beds were very comfortable and all the bedrooms had A/C. It was an easy 15 min walk to the beautiful beach, with several nice bars/restaurants, water sports, pedalos etc. We had a couple of walks to Villamoura along the beach. The highlight for the kids was the Gecko disco in Vale do Lobo, fun and safe and rammed with 16 year olds! They came home in ubers which were cheap, plentiful and safe. This is a very good value villa in a great location. Felipe was very helpful and responsive, we even had a mid week clean thrown in! There were a couple of very minor omissions, no chopping boards or trays that we could find, and only one quite small jug which hampered our attempts to make cocktails somewhat! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a large not too flashy villa at a decent price.

Fabulous week

We have just come back from a fabulous stay in this great villa. 17 adults and my 2 year old granddaughter. The facilities are fantastic - games room & gym, great BBQ area with pizza oven, huge garden & swimming pool - something for everyone. Owners couldn’t have been nicer. The area is lovely and within easy walking distance of most things. Would definitely go again.

A villa full of surprises

We booked this villa to celebrate a friend's special birthday. A previous review did cause us some concern, but after speaking to owner beforehand we were reassured enough to feel confident that everything would be ok. The place is a wonderful Vila, it can cater for all eventualities, from the games room, outside bbq area, outsidebar area, swimming pool, location to a supermarket, outside play area and more ... Felipe was helpful and responded to any requests for assistance in a reasonable period of time. I work in the fire safety industry and the property would meet any requirements of UK fire safety legislation (which the Portuguese don't have to confirm to). That aside, the location is perfect for a relaxing or action packed break and like others, I would book this villa again for an Algarve holiday. Thanks Felipe, for the use of your villa and the extra assistance you gave to members of our group when their flights were delayed.
