The first bathroom is fitted with a shower and basin and the second bathroom has a bath and toilet. The cottage also features a hot and cold-water outdoor shower for after a day at the beach.
The cottage comprises a large indoor braai and an open-plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a Smeg oven and gas stove top,a microwave, as well as a dishwasher for guests convenience. There is also a dining table and chairs in the kitchen/lounge area. There is a tv ( not smart )TV for watching live streamed movies on our complimentary wifi using your own HDMI CABLE, this is (subject to any planned or unplanned situations that may occur that are out of our control and that we cannot accept responsibility for ).
The house is fully secured by clearview fencing, electric fence and beams. Treat security as you would anywhere else in SA. There is no off-street parking currently, cars to park on the road.
The deck comes equipped with a large umbrella and a table and chairs There are stairs to the garden and as such small children must be supervised at all times when on the deck.
Guests can relax in the garden which has a pergola and recliners. The beach is just 1.3 km away and the village, with shops and restaurants, is located 1.7 km away.
We have installed a basic invertor for load shedding that keeps the wifi/ alarm electric fence and some plugs in the house working for a few hours.
Pringle Bay is situated in the Kogelberg Biosphere - we actively encourage responsible tourism and respect for our local Baboon troop as well as all other fauna and flora. We encourage our guests to relax, enjoy and "kuier" ;however,if you are wanting to party and listen to loud music this is not a suitable house.

Protea cottage welcomes dog owners, as we are fully fenced, we ask that furry friends do not sleep on beds or furniture out of respect ro other guests .Children who are able to navigate the steps off our deck own their own safely are welcome.
We love people to have a great time, but we do live in a biosphere nature area and have both human and animal neighbours- so we request that this is taken into account from a music and noise level.

What a great spot to go to with the extended family. There is ample sleeping space and we all had a fabulous time. The kitchen is well equipped and the braai area in the living space is an added bonus as it makes for a very sociable environment for a family get together. The bedrooms are comfortable and the position of the house is also very private as it is in a sense at the edge of the village. I recommend staying here - a perfect place to enjoy a break. Relaxed and chilled.

Really a Cute Cottage in Pringle Bay
A lovely self-catering place to stay in Pringle Bay. It is close enough to all you need yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be nice and quiet. The amenities are great and covers all one needs for a comfortable stay. The kitchen contains everything that one may require. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable (we did not use the other bedrooms). The other furniture was also very comfortable. A feature we value is the excellent security which includes fencing, security gates, an alarm system and armed response.

Light, bright and tastefully comfortable
A lovely home set against the mountain near the mountain path, and a far away view of the sea. Set far from any busyness, this is a quiet haven, with everything you need for a great break. Even walking to the beach is possible. Light, bright, tastefully comfortable accommodation🌻🐾

A place to relax after after a day of fun activities in and around Pringle.
Some homes have a wonderful feel about them and this is one of them. Well equipped with an indoor braai as well as indoor-outdoor living.

A home away from home!
If you are looking for the perfect getaway cottage then look no further. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing weekends whether you are wanting to cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, or have a fabulous nights rest in one of 4 bedrooms, or better yet, stargaze or watch the sun set from the deck, then this is the place for you. Dog friendly and a lovely and accommodating host! I’ll be back for sure!
