Villa Gabriella offers a luxury experience for a large family or perhaps two families, but if you're a couple then please talk to us about a special rate, outside of high/peak season, for occupancy by just two people in one bedroom. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Four spacious bedrooms, all ensuite & all with air conditioning, sleeping eight in total. One super-king, Two kings, one twin room. Two ‘master’ bedrooms. One on the ground floor with direct access to the terrace & one on the first floor with a private terrace comfortably furnished with chairs and lounger.
The option to add cots or fold-up beds for two babies or younger children.
Two ensuites have baths with showers over & two have walk-in showers. All are fully tiled & all have marble or granite vanity tops – a standard you should expect from any luxury private villa on Lefkada.
We can also make available Gabriella Cottage in the grounds of the villa. This is only ever let in conjunction with the main house. It offers a single bedroom with ensuite shower room, mini kitchen & sitting room. It's available at an additional rate in our pricing.
POOLSIDE YOU’LL FIND ...
A 35m2 heated (low season) infinity pool facing the panoramic view. The surrounding terrace has 6 loungers, 2 supersized beanbags & a shaded wooden pergola with exterior lounge furniture. Poolside shower room & toilet. In the trees there's a six seater hot tub, also with amazing views.
IN THE GROUNDS
The villa is nestled in the forest on the hillside above the seafront town of Nidri offering a uniquely private location, complete tranquility & the breathtaking panoramic view across numerous Ionian islands to the Greek mainland. Enter through remote-operated gates onto a spacious drive accommodating multiple cars. The villa is mobility friendly with large rooms, wide doors & a ground floor bedroom & a path down to the pool terrace. The gardens change with the seasons but incorporate wild-flowers, olive & citrus trees & are screened by mature pines & cypress.

We stayed in August following a busy week of sailing. We were an extended family group so also occupied the small garden villa. Although there were lots of us, there were plenty of spaces for us to spread out both in out of the sun. It was great to have the large dinning table and used that most evening to dine with the most amazing backdrop!
Jo and Alan were extremely helpful with communication both before and during the stay with tips and advice on local attractions.
We spent most of the time relaxing at the villa but found it easy to pop into town to get groceries and and evening out. We had standard hire cars and the track was no issue. We hired a RIB for the day from Trident boats and I would really recommend getting out on the water and visiting the nearby islands.
We'd been looking forward to relaxing by the pool for months, constantly looking at photos and social media and it really lived up to our expectations!

The need to share - Fabulous
If you’re looking for something special, Large villa (sleeps 8) with specious luxury, elegantly decorated bedrooms. Top Bosh appliances, tasteful artwork everywhere you look (in doors and out) then this is your place. From infinity pool & Hot Tub amongst the trees to pretty gardens with spacious outside dinning and sitting areas.
If you want to be away from it all but see it all from the fantastic views down on Nadri…. Then this really is your place to go.
Been once, went back a second time as wanted to share it with my extended family and can honestly see us going back yearly for the foreseeable future.
Wonderful Super Hosts who think of your every need.
We felt very spoilt in this fabulous environment, read the reviews, see what there is to offer, worth every penny, you really won't regret it....

Amazing Villa - Perfect Holiday Home
We’ve just returned from our second stay at Villa Gabriella. It’s quite simply our favourite holiday home. This time we went with a group of friends and it was the perfect place for us all to escape the horrible covid affected year we’ve all had. The views at the villa are unbeatable and there is plenty to do on the island. Jo and Alan (the owners) were incredibly helpful/hospitable and we couldn’t recommend staying at Villa Gabriella any higher!

Fabulous peaceful villa with spectacular views
Villa Gabriella has it all - it's luxurious without being showy, very comfortable and I could look at the ever changing views all day every day! With a pool and hot tub there's no need to venture out if you just want to chill out. Nidri is easily accessible with all the amenities of a small town, including some lovely bars and restaurants. It's worth ensuring your hire car can negotiate the steep roads (the last bit is unmade) and then you are all set for a truly wonderful stay. Thank you.

Real WOW factor found here .......!!
OK - so been home for about 10 or do days now.... ( sigh !!) What a fabulous find this villa was. We holidayed here for a week with another family and still found plenty of space to be alone if you wanted to. The views and pool cannot be praised enough.... we were speechless to be honest. Yes, the drive up to the villa once you leave the tarmac was a smidge challenging in a pretty basic hire car, but still SOOOOooo worth it !!
I had visited Lefkas and Nidri area some 30 years ago, quite a few changes, but nothing too drastic. Still gorgeously Greek.... thankfully !
Can thoroughly recommend a stay here - it s very special.
Big thanks too must go to the lovely Jilly & Jon who were FAB hosts and are now lovely friends !!

Breathtaking views
The photos really don’t do this villa justice. After negotiating a very dusty tricky steep unmade road to the villa we were greeted by Gill and Jon. They couldn’t do enough for us, stocked the Fridge with lots of goodies to enjoy and show us some lovely tavernas we would never have found without their help. The view from the villa is completely breathtaking and the infinity pool was just stunning. All the bedrooms have been thoughtfully decorated and all have very comfortable beds. I wish we’d booked longer as we were totally relaxed.
Thank you to Gill & Jon for being so friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be to hire a 4x4 or a car that’s “man enough” for the drive up to the villa or perhaps even to concrete the road.

We are due a little road maintenance in spring 2020 (every second year) which will smooth out the worst of the bumps and make the final access easier so perhaps a return trip to continue your relaxing will be even smoother next year!

Great views
We enjoyed our stay - villa was well equipped with beautiful views! We did find the villa difficult with a toddler (none of the outside areas are gated, and with the pool, stairs and split levels, it was really challenging!) but for families with older children it would be ideal. Gill & Jon, who met us were very helpful and welcoming - their local knowledge was invaluable! They even babysat for us one night, which gave us a well appreciated break!!
The pool & the air con were life savers in the August heat!!
The drive was in a poor state and it would have been good to have known that in advance, as a 4x4 would have been better than the bog standard rental cars we hired!

Thanks for your review of Villa Gabriella and we're delighted you enjoyed the stay. We understand the challenges of toddlers in the context of the villa - as you'll have appreciated gating all the various ways around the grounds would be absolutely impossible. I think you're referring to the road to the villa rather than our drive. Like a great many villas on Greek islands, especially those as private and secluded as Villa Gabriella and with such breathtaking views, access is via an unmade road - in our case about 600m long. We do provide advance information, including a video, on how to best tackle the road which is always a bit bumpy. But we've never yet met anyone who really needed a 4x4 to access the villa - it's just a question of taking it smoothly and steadily at about 15-20 km/h in first gear.

The photos show the perfect holiday villa. The photos don't do it justice.
While the amazing photos of Villa Gabriella on the website depict my idea of heaven on earth in every way, they cannot do justice to the relaxing, calm luxury of this truly stunning villa and its breathtaking surroundings and views. We woke up to the scent of pine forest and wild flowers, took breakfast on the terrace - and what a terrace! - the views are so amazing that they literally stop conversation - and throughout the entire holiday relaxed more fully than we have in years in this gem of a home. Well appointed, with a kitchen that just makes you want to cook, a pool to die for, and beautiful decor and furnishings throughout, the Villa Gabriella is a true delight to come back to after days out exploring the sights of Nidri, Lefkada and the surrounding islands. If there is a heaven, there is no way it is more beautiful or more relaxing than this little slice of paradise.

A stunning villa on a stunning spot on a stunning island
On less than one hour from the airport of Preveza one finds Villa Gabriella: paradise on earth! Magnificently located in the hills above Nydri the surroundings are quiet without being isolated. Its terrace offers a stunning view over the Mediterranean. The same view can be enjoyed from both the hot tub and the pool – giving even more a feeling of exclusivity.
It really is a very beautiful house, well decorated, well maintained, with complete amenities and very good beds. Garden and trees contribute to the peaceful atmosphere.
The island of Lefkada is more than worth exploring with beautiful nature, splendid beaches and a friendly population.
One of the islands that are seen from the terrace is Skorpios, property of the Onassis family: we have come to understand why they favored this spot!
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by a generous welcoming pack of food and beverages. Finally we would like to mention our appreciation of the very helpful, informative and friendly manager of the house.
Go there and enjoy all the house and the island has to offer, you will not be disappointed!

A short drive from Villa Gabriella Lefkada finds world class beaches, no less than seven with EU Blue-Flag ratings for cleanliness; the busy harbour town of Nidri with multiple sightseeing trips available, watersports centres, scenic local restaurants and yacht, dinghy or motorboat hire options. In fact, everything you need to plan your perfect holiday at an exclusive family villa on Lefkada.
A little further afield alternatives abound – including visiting local archeological, historical and cultural sites both on and off the island. The beauty of Villa Gabriella Lefkada is that you can tailor your holiday to include what you want – ranging from total relaxation onsite, to sailing & watersports to exploring local culture & history.
Getting around
A hire car is highly recommended. The privacy of Villa Gabriella, means you really need a car to get there and to make day trips around this beautiful island.

How to get there
There are several ways to Lefkada. The most direct is a flight into Preveza Aktion airport from which Villa Gabriella is about a 45-minute drive, either by taxi or in a rental car from the airport (major international rental companies and local companies are represented). Flights to Preveza arrive most days of the week from different European airports. Alternatively take a flight to Athens - most major European airlines (and others) offer daily scheduled services. You can rent a car at the airport and the pleasant drive, bypassing Athens on the modern motorway, takes less than four hours, predominantly on a new motorway. Choosing to drive from Athens offers the opportunity to stop at some interesting ancient Greek sites along the way should you please. You can also fly into Thessaloniki with a similar 4 hour drive to Lefkada.And there are also options via Corfu and Kefalonia, but both require ferries.
