Interaction with guests:Â We have a locally based house management team who will be organising things for you in advance (booking a taxi from the airport, helping with hire car, booking excursions etc) and will be at Turtles Reach on arrival to greet you and explain how things work in the Villa and show you the wider community pools and facilities.

We booked this property for our family Christmas vacation based on all the positive reviews of the townhouse, the property and the beach. I won't repeat all those comments as we all agreed they are "spot on". We all had a wonderful experience.
I would like to specially note the help we received from Susan the owner and Stephanie the concierge while planning our first trip to Barbados. They made everything effortless.
Katherine the housekeeper is an absolute joy, and Loretta, who cooked the wahoo we caught, a treasure we will all remember.

Fantastic yet again
We stayed at turtles reach for the second time. This year with the in laws, so there was 7 of us. The villa is a superb home and is perfect in every way. We had a fantastic 2 weeks with access to the members deck at Mullins beach. If you want a relaxing holiday, then this is definitely the place to stay.

Turtles Reach Mullins Bay
Our holiday was a family holiday of 8 people. The villa was excellent in size and quality and enabled us all to be comfortable at all times. Everything you could wish for with regard to utensils to make life easy for catering for 8 persons, especially as our whole family love cooking. The plunge pool was excellent and the other swimming pools equally so. The beach was very convenient opposite the complex. We enjoyed our time on the beach, however shame about the beach bar being badly damaged in a previous storm. Kathryn who visited us daily was excellent and change of towels, bed linen and general housekeeping was a treat. We managed to see the island on our visits out and the weather was very kind to us. I would recommend Turtles reach and Mullins Bay without hesitation and maybe someday revisit. Lots of lovely memories there. Alan Joyce

Excellent family vacation at Turtles Reach
We have just returned from a 2-week stay at Turtles Reach and we absolutely loved it! Turtles Reach is a 3-story, 4-bedroom villa and is part of the Mullins Bay complex, which is a gated and secure development (something that is very important to me).This home has a great ambiance and is beautifully appointed with great furniture, comfy beds and a kitchen that is equipped with every appliance needed. The location of Turtles Reach is optimal, and we loved the proximity to Mullins Beach (approx. one minute walk) and the fact that the location is a short drive to both Holetown and Speightstown.
We bought groceries and ate in most nights. Loretta, the cook, is wonderful and so helpful, she even did the grocery shopping for us one day. Loretta made many delicious meals for the 8 of us. Katherine, the housekeeper, has an easy demeanour and is happy to help out in any way she can.
Both Sue (the owner) and Stephanie (the property manager) are extremely responsive and were so helpful with every detail, both during the rental process and during our stay.
I have absolutely no complaints about anything at Turtles Reach, and I was sad having to leave. I am hoping to return next year (and perhaps stay 3 weeks if I can swing it!). In fact tonight I have a girls' dinner where I will be suggesting that we all do a girls' trip together to Turtles Reach sometime within the year.

Lovely Town House
A lovely roomy 4 bed 4 bath townhouse in peaceful gated community with ample parking and easy access to Mullins beach. Good helpful management company to help with any problems and booking of restaurants, car hire etc.

Outstanding
We have just come back from a family holiday in Barbados and stayed at Turtles Reach. It was outstanding in every way possibly, everything had been thought of and provided throughout the house, the housekeeper was delightful and incredibly helpful.
The location was perfect, just a stones throw from the beach and the private facilities at Mullins made visiting the beach with a young family far less stressful.
I would highly recommend to both families with and without children.
We will certainly be coming back!

Superb accommodation in the perfect location
Turtles reach is a fantastic townhouse which is extremely comfortable and a real home from home. Furnishings and appliances are all first class. Kitchen is probably the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen! Location is superb. Mullins beach is literally 2 mins walk away and is idyllic. Yes you get people trying to sell jets ski rides etc, but you get that in most places these days. We found chatting to them and saying we would let them know when we wanted to use them, they left us alone. And all done is a nice jovial manner. Sea is crystal clear and a really safe area for the kids to swim. Underwater camera is a must as the sea life is something else!
The booking process through TA was seamless from the outset. Communication with owner and property manager was first class. They couldn't do enough to help out.
We definitely want to return next year with friends and family in tow.

Relaxing
A very relaxing vacation. Just the beach, a few tourists, a few locals and a really nice ambiance. We went with our young children and their grandmother, and we all had a fun stay. Recommend for relaxation - the temperature of the water was gorgeous.

Very comfy, relaxed living, walk to beach
Sue's place is great. It's a very short walk to Mullins beach, or if you are like us and prefer something quieter, a slightly longer walk to Gibbs beach (doable on the sand during low tide). The unit itself has 4 very comfortable bedrooms, a very sociable living room. and all the amenities we and our friends wanted, including lots of beach towels. We were able to watch TV and even play music without disturbing neighbours, and we loved eating breakfast on the patio every morning. This was our second time there. The first time we had trouble with the Apple TV and they called us within minutes of us sending the email asking for help. This time, we were old pros. The plunge pool is probably my favourite feature, but the pool just outside the gate was also super nice and empty the whole time we were there. This year there were more bugs than last because of some rain, so if you're tasty to insects buy bug spray for the evenings if you're sitting outdoors. Also, pro tip: although they have a Sonos and an Apple TV, if you want to stream movies off your computer to the TV, bring an extra HDMI cable (that plugs into whatever port you have on your computer). But you can log into iTunes and Netflix through their setup already.
Some favourites in the area:
if you like cheaper eats, the south side of the island is best, but Roti Den in Holetown is delicious. Daphne's for much fancier. We shopped at the Holetown Massey's for groceries and ate in most of the time--there are lots of cooking implements in the kitchen if you're into that sort of thing. The bar across the street at Mullins Beach is surprisingly not bad.
We are already booking our week for next year.

What more could you ask for
After having spent my first week in Barbados I couldn't;t have wished for a better villa to stay in. From the moment we booked this villa it was very clear to see that we were in safe hands.
My experience with dealing with Sue (the owner) and Stephanie (from the management company) was first class, no stone was left unturned.The location was (simply put) excellent we were pretty much right on the beech and were given special privileges for a number of the local hotspots including Mullins Beech Bar's members area and access to the Royal Westmorland resort.
The house keeper Catherine couldn't help more, she even offered to do or food shopping, and looked after the house like it was her own but without being in the way.
I will certainly be going back to this villa, it made our stay 100% perfect, the villa itself is equipped with the very best appliances, including Miele oven, hob etc, along with a brilliant sound system and Apple TV. Perfect for keeping the kids entertained and the adults.
