Broomholmknowe Cottage was renovated in 2015 and sits on a private 75 acre fishing estate.
Wonderful walks, cycling or visiting the local attractions. The cottage is located on the Border Esk

Broomholmknowe is a beautiful newly renovated cottage located next to Langholm and on the famous Border Esk river. The cottage has three bedrooms with two bathrooms and all modern facilities including Sky TV, Wifi and BT landline. There is a spacious living room, hallway where dogs can sleep and kitchen. Also there is a large terrace with BBQ set and table and chairs.

The combination of a stunning Georgian house at its centre, parkland, mature specimen trees, rich flora and many different species of animal life including Oyster Catchers and red squirrels, make Broomholm a special place to visit for walkers, castle lovers, cyclists and fishermen.

We are not far from Langholm and you can walk there. Langholm has a supermarket, a chemist, an award winning butcher and some great Pubs including the Douglas. We are 1,5 hours from Edinburgh, 4...

Second visit to this great property which is set in a lovely location. A wonderful setting for a family xmas. Despite the cooker breaking down on 23rd December a new one was fitted on Christmas Eve, thanks to Christopher and Maxim who saved the day. Looks are deceptive?? ,though,lovely surroundings. Firstly open grounds onto road keep dogs on the lead and you will need wellies to access the river very muddy steep path. We had a very pleasant 5 night stay with our two dogs, the cottage is beautiful, well decorated and furnished to a high standard and feels just like home.
