We are 5 days into our favourite holiday of the year in the beautiful village of Cushendun. Our Second stay in this apartment . We have been so lucky with amazing weather and spent every day on different beaches round the coast, in the sea every day. Every evening we have enjoyed our sun downer Guinness in front of Randall"s...

Cushendun is a joy; harbour, beach, 2 pubs, restaurant, shop, beautiful houses and lovely people. War of Thrones coachloads also entertaining to watch. The flat is lovely; clean; great showers with loads of hot water, and a kitchen that works with good kit. Wetsuits to borrow was really thoughtful-certainly would not have gone swimming without them.

Management response:

Thanks for the thorough review. You certainly made the most of the apartment and location. Hope to see you again soon. Paul and Mary.

Additional Rate and Availability Information
Please note. The HL website indicates a 75% response rate. This is wrong and to be ignored. We always respond immediately. The website will also automatically calculate and show a rental fee based on a pro rata calculation of 1/7th of the lowest weekly tariff. This is also wrong, misleading and to be ignored. The HL techy back room boys have been told about these quirks but they refuse to listen.Special Late Deal rate is payable at the time of booking.

Short Breaks of single or two nights are available at a reduced rate subject to availability and owners discretion.

The price for a 2 or 3 night weekend break is approximately 75% of the normal weekly rental. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

About the neighbourhood
Let me introduce you to Cushendun ...

The picturesque village of Cushendun lies on the County Antrim coast at the mouth of the River Dun. Situated at the foot of Glendun, one of the famous nine Glens of Antrim, Cushendun makes a good base for exploring the surrounding coast and countryside. Much of the village was designed by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis (who famously created the Italianate fantasy village of Portmeirion in North Wales) between 1912 and 1925. Owned by the National Trust, Cushendun is characterised by quaint whitewashed Cornish-style cottages and boasts a long, unspoilt sandy beach and pretty harbour. A festival week takes place at the end of July.

Surrounding the village, Glendun (meaning 'Brown Glen') is one of the m... more
