Fully equipped kitchen diner, original wooden floor, dining area seats 6, with light oak fitments, granite worktops, double oven range cooker, ceramic hob, microwave, butler sink, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer. Elegant lounge seats 6 with an open log fire which has a antique guilt French mirror over, Liberty curtains, 32' free view tv, original artworks. Easy stairs lead to a luxury white tiled family bathroom with a Victorian washstand high level w.c., bath, electric shower, shaver point, heated towel rail. Oriental double bedroom with bedstead, desk, wardrobe and chest. Yellow double bedroom with 2 single beds, chest. Both have stunning views of the gardens. There is a day bed in the lounge that can be used as a bed, also there is a large cot. Pretty garden with lawn, patio area with table and 6 chairs, bar-b-que, fruit trees. Parking space for one small car. Carpeted throughout. Gas central heating. All linen and towels are provided. Cot can be provided. Pets are not allowed. No smoking. Unsuitable for wheelchair users. Utility charges are included. Wingham village possess some interesting buildings dating back to the 11th century and is dominated by a huge Norman church. There are 2 pubs The Dog being voted top Kent pub, the Anchor is a top music festival. An Indian restaurants, shops, doctors, dentist, farm shops, tennis club, cricket ground. Surrounded by farmland, walking routes, North Downs Way, National Cycle Route 1, Kent Cycle Route. Nearby are historic villages, gardens, Staple vineyard, Howletts Zoo, Wingham Wildlife Park. Within 15 minutes drive you can visit 3 castles, Dover, Deal and Walmer. Besides this you can also play on 13 golf courses or visit the sea at Broadstairs, Margate with its new Turner Art Gallery, Ramsgate where you can participate in water sports, sailing and sea-fishing and Deal with the Fowlmead Cycle Park. Buses from the village will take you to Canterbury, Sandwich and along the coast. More

For guests staying longer than one week the housekeeper will visit to clean and change the linen, arrangements to be made at the time. Plenty of leaflets on local attractions which are many.

Will add a photo of the outside of the house that is in The Square, this is the address so cannot be changed. Kettle has been replaced, so has shower, although it was working. The settee has webbing as well as MDF board to keep...More

Cottage ideally situated in village location and contained everything we needed. Staying here with two teenagers meant that even though the twin room had a full size pull-out bed it was a tight squeeze and would be more ideal as a single room. The back...More

The single beds have now been rearranged see new photo, now easy to use giving more room also
