Villa
SISTER PROPERTY TO VILLA DO MAR I AND VILLA DO MAR III
The owner has decorated the Villa in lovely colours that reflect the old fishing cottages of Madeira.
The living area is full of light and has full length sliding windowpanes that provide full and direct sea-views and leads to the swimming pool terrace. In addition to the sitting and dining areas, you will find a delightfully decorated open plan kitchen and separate barbecue.
The Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom is on the first floor; the second bedroom is below it and has next to it the family bathroom. The third bedroom and en-suite bathroom is in the loft of what was the barn, and is reached via a separate set of steps.
The living area and all the bedrooms have air-conditioning.

Estadia de sonho
Positivo: Casa linda, bem apetrechada, excelente exposição solar, piscina com tamanho ideal face à área da casa, acesso a uma praia praticamente privativa, muita privacidade
Negativo: não existir ecoponto na casa, tendo o sr. da manutenção respondido que ali não fazem separação do lixo, quando sabemos que a Câmara Municipal o faz; presença matinal do sr. da manutenção para limpeza da piscina sem aviso prévio. Dado que estando de férias, gostamos de estar à vontade, sugerimos que pelo menos avisem por mensagem sempre que o Sr. necessite de entrar em casa para a respetiva manutenção.

Extraordinary
Outstanding villa over the sea, very well equiped
10 min from supermarkets and on a very peaceful spot of the island
Perfect for family and friends who want to relax on the pool with an outstanding view

Stunning Villa
We loved it we will come back. Great place, lovely villa. The view is perfect and we had a personal contact for the time we stayed in the house. Bruno is very helpful. JUST PERFECT

sauberes Haus in toller Umgebung, bester Service,
Meeresrauschen und toller Meerblick rund um die Uhr. Absolute Ruhe, mit Ausnahme des Meeresrauschens. Einsamkeit pur. Privat Strand (wenn man sich auch bei Wellengang) ins Wasser traut.

Einmalig schöner Aufenthalt mit traumhafter Kulisse
Der Aufenthalt in der Villa war einfach top!! Der Atlantik mit wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen liegt unmittelbar vor bzw. unter dem Besucher. Die Villa selbst ist zwar nur über einen nicht ganz einfachen Zugangsweg zu erreichen, was aber weiter nicht stört, wenn man sich daran gewöhnt hat, und den Vorteil hat, daß man mehr Pirvatsphäre genießen kann. Man kann sich hier wirklich ganz hervorragend entspannen und erholen.

Traumhaus in spektakulärer Lage
Wir haben im Juni eine wunderschöne Woche in der Villa do Mar II verbracht. Es war alles perfekt: die wundervolle Aussicht aufs Meer, das beruhigende Rauschen der Wellen, die Ausstattung der Villa. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein Bullauge aufs Meer, sodass man sich wie auf einem Schiff vorkommt, zusätzlich noch ein Dachfenster zum Sternegucken! Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Wohnzimmer mit Küche und Essplatz ist modern eingerichtet, besonders haben uns die fröhlichen Farben gefallen. Der Außenbereich ist mit schönen Möbeln ausgestattet, der Pool ist ein Traum und die Bepflanzung sehr tropisch.
Senhor Acacio hat uns sehr freundlich und gut betreut. Es lief alles völlig problemlos ab.
Vielen Dank an den Besitzer für die Einladung in sein Restaurant Vila do Peixe. Wir haben das gute Essen in nettem Ambiente sehr genossen.
Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Ein wunderbarer Ort. Panorama, Meeresrauschen, Sonne, Pool, Ruhe.
Die Zufahrt ist schon die Reise wert! Und nicht vergessen, alle anderen haben es auch geschafft. Das Auto sollte aber einen ordentlichen Motor haben.

Well equipped property with a stunning view
My wife and I spent 10 days at this property with our 3 children and everybody loved it. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and offers direct access to a private beach. The swimming pool was large enough for us all and we certainly made the most of it. If you are after a quiet property with beautiful views out to the sea then this could be the one for you :)

Stunning view, good house - VERY HARD beds
We really enjoyed the stay at this place.... I will write the most difficult things first because that is why I couldn't give this place 'excellent'.
a) Mattress - I have now suffered a bruise ribs from too hard mattress. We tried as a couple two of the beds and the one in the upstairs bedroom is a bit - ever so slightly softer than the one downstairs. Combined with very lumpy pillows - you do not sleep as well as you want
b) Lack of supplies - we have rented 15 houses/apartments in the last year on a 10 month travel sabbatical and this is the FIRST place that did not supply the simplest things like garbage bags for the kitchen garbage. There was no kitchen roll, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom (no extra). Zero things like salt, pepper, olive oil, cleaning supplies should you spill something on the floors. We complained and asked for this to be sorted and it was done the first night - the price of the villa lends itself to the owner providing some simple things that you shouldn't have to buy to keep his place 'tidy' and 'clean'
c) Do not rent a big car - you MUST have a small car to navigate the road to and from this villa. I read the previous reviews and thought it was an exaggeration - it is not. This road is very steep and we put a huge dent into the too big car and had to exchange it. Thankfully we never experienced having two vehicles on the road at the same time. The rule apparently is who is going up, must reverse down.

Positives - the pool is wonderful and heating it you pay for extra is worth it.
The views are outstanding and the house is well maintained.
