Charmant et bucolique havre de paix
L'endroit est reposant(ecrin de verdure,animaux...piscine) tout en étant à proximité de lieux historiques ,tel que Sarlat, Bergerac... Tres confortable. Chaleureux accueil des hôtes. Nous y reviendrons car nous n'avons pas eu temps de découvrir toute la région !.

Beautiful 'getaway' gite in a beautiful location, accessible to picturesque villages and sites of Perigord/Dordogne.
Les Amandine is a beautiful,very spacious for 2 property set in parklands with use of a lovely pool. Very helpful owners live on site. Locally, lovely country walks, little villages with local markets, wine tasting & chateaux. Slightly further afield, top sites such as St Emilion, Begerac, Issigeac - full of lovely hallf timbered houses and atmosphere. Approx 2 hours drive - Caves lascaux, Pech merle and others, Cahors, Sarlat and our personal highlight; Trip on the Dordogne on board a Gabarre - well worth the trip!

La Shertane, un endroit magnifique où tout est fait pour passer de très bons moments et de superbes vacances (piscine, étang, parc arboré et parc animalier)... tenu par Christian et Dominique: deux personnes vraiment charmantes. Merci à Christian pour ses bons conseils concernant la visite de la région qui est superbe à découvrir. Nous recommandons ce gîte et pour notre part nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

déçu de cette location. Prévue pour 8 personnes mais aucune table n est prévu pour 8 ( il faut se serrer) Une maison pas très propre. Douche avec de la moisissure, matériel de cuisine sale avec pour certain du gras ancien... literie à revoir, canapé en mauvais état....un plancher à l étage qui grince énormément avec une insonorisation très mauvaise. une piscine où les enfants ne sont pas les bienvenus car ils s amusent. De plus, la maison des propriétaires est collée à la piscine donc aucune intimité. Des horaires de piscine un peu restrictives. Et pour finir pas de réseau pour le téléphone et on a payé pour avoir de la wifi que nous n avons jamais eu...

A wonderful calm and tranquil retreat
Gîte L'Armandine at Monestier is a spacious, very comfortably furnished, traditional stone cottage set in extensive grounds with lovely pool area and a private patio. The area is well served with good restaurants and a large supermarket a short drive away. There is lots to do and see. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Great stay.

Un petit coin de paradis
Lieu rêvé pour une semaine de repos. Visites, balades, farniente. Endroit de prédilection pour un vrai pêcheur ( gardon, rotengle, anguille, perche soleil et pour les meilleurs Black Bass 44cm et Tanches 54cm à battre 🙂🙃🙂 avec pour seule compagnie une petite ribambelle d'animaux les plus adorables les uns que les autres ( petit clin d'œil à "Kiri" et à "Samos"). Bravo aux propriétaires qui mettent tout leur coeur dans l'entretien de cette magnifique propriété à fin qu'elle soit la plus accueillante possible. C'est très réussi. Des gens très sympathiques et discrets. Enchantés de notre séjour, nous n'avons qu'une seule envie , c'est d'y revenir. À très bientôt 😉

C'est vraiment un gîte de charme
Nous avons passés un très bon séjour au gîte malgré le mauvais temps. Au point de vu équipement c'est parfait, les pièces sont grandes et le cadre est magnifique. Dominique est Christian sont charmants et sont disponibles en cas de besoin. Le gîte est bien situé et pas loin de Bergerac. Il y a plusieurs visites à faire dans la région, Christian donne une liste des endroits et marchés intéressants à visiter.

Peaceful, relaxing and well equipped
I was welcomed to the property by Patrick who showed me around the place, explained where to find things etc. The first thing I noticed was the size and cleanliness of the property - a very large lounge dining area, a large bedroom, a good sized well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with an enormous shower. Everything was spotless and there was a welcoming drink, nibbles and fresh grapes on my arrival. The property is set in a very rural environment with vineyards all around but the directions provided took me right to the door without and problems. Outside the lounge there is a patio with table, chairs and umbrella so I enjoyed many meals outside even though I stayed in October. The swimming pool is large and cleaned every day however not being a good swimmer I did not make a lot of use of it. As mentioned earlier, the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals including a few essential items salt, sugar, coffee etc. Plenty of cookware and crockery for 4 people and everything worked as it should. There are extensive well maintained grounds including a coarse fishing pond and I was able to sit out many times relaxing and reading or walking around. There is a television which I only switched on the night before I left and a radio/cd player - but take your own selection of music. The only downside from my point of view was the wifi and mobile signal because of the rural location, I often had to go outside to get a good signal. It would not be so suitable for anyone wheelchair bound as the kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom are on different levels. But for me it was totally relaxing and enjoyable. Christian and Dominique were often seen around the grounds but never intrusive. All in all, a wonderful place to see in a region with so much to see and explore.
