My husband and I stayed at Casa Ishi for our last four nights in Chile. It was an easy 50 minute drive from the airport. We absolutely loved the house! It was private, beautifully furnished, clean and the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed to make meals. The house is situated above the river and surrounded by the beautiful gardens on this property. We woke up every morning to the sound of the river and the incredible birds. We really enjoyed having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening at the table and chairs (under the grapevine covered trellis) in the garden. It was very peaceful and quiet and we took many walks around the garden so we could see all the fruit trees and beautiful flowers. This is a great location and every day we took day trips to wineries and Pomaire to shop for pottery.
The owners were wonderful and made us feel very welcome! They took good care of us and provided information related to local stores and restaurants. We went to the restaurant at Concho y Toro and had lunch at La Vaquita Echa and would recommend both for dinner or lunch. The local grocery stores were great, well stocked and we found everything we needed to make our own meals. We went to Santiago at the beginning of our trip and we are so glad that instead of going back to Santiago we decided to stay at Casa Ishi. We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect in all ways
Romantic cottage on gorgeous estate with amenities
My husband and I stayed in the smaller one-bedroom house at Casa Ishi. It was lovely and beautifully well tended—with lovely details from the dishes and cutlery, to the bottle of wine awaiting our arrival, to small bottles of shampoo and soap for us to use. The owners are wonderfully attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay and a variety of day trips in the gorgeous surrounding valley. The whole thing was a treat, and I would love to visit again!

Amazing
My sister and I stayed at Casa Ishi for our Chilean vacation and it was amazing! The property has beautiful gardens and many fruit trees and from your window there are wonderful views of the mountains and river. It is minutes from some of the best wineries Chile has to offer not to mention just a short ride to white water rafting, horseback riding and the city of Santiago.I highly recommend Cass Ishikawa and the Maipo Valley for anyone visiting Chile.

Peaceful, modern loft on beautiful property
My husband, 1 yr old son and I stayed here for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. We actually live in Santiago, and this was a perfect relaxing getaway for us. The loft is impeccable. We've stayed in hotels, hostels, b&bs all over Chile, and I've never seen a room so clean and well-kept. The loft has plenty of space, and the fully equipped kitchen has a gorgeous view of the valley. The bathroom is also spacious and very modern as well.
In addition to the cozy loft, you have this huge property to enjoy and explore. Every inch is beautiful. The long entrance is lined with lavender, sitting areas are shaded by grape vine canopies, and the most unique succulents are found all around. There is a huge grill and mud oven that you are free to use to have a typical Chilean "asado."
The owners and caretakers are not just welcoming but extremely helpful for anything you may need. As we live so close, we will definitely come back for another stay. The loft is a hidden gem, and the property is gorgeous. Totally recommended!

There many ways to arrive in Pirque, depending on where you are coming from. The simplest directions to the Casa Ishi are from Concha Y Toro winery, the most visited attraction in Chile, which is located in the center of Pirque, only 7 km from the Casa Ishi. If you are at Concha Y Toro winery, we are less than 10 minutes away. You would go left out of Concha Y Toro, and continue on this road. After 6 km, you cross a bridge and just beyond, the road has a big curve. We are the first property on the left after the curve, and across from a small green street marker sign - Route G-27 16Km.
