The rental property is a recently (May 2016) fully refurbished, cozy, comfortable, clean unit within a 7 minute walk to the entrance to the public beach and is one block from the main beach road (with regular bus service to and from Bridgetown). Sandy Lane beach (one of the best beaches in the west coast of Barbados) is an additional 10 minute walk from the condo. Holetown (the 2nd largest town in Barbados) is a 10 minute walk north from the condo with local services available like supermarkets, restaurants, health clinics and the brand new Limegrove Shopping Centre with great upscale shops (Louis Vutton, etc.), a new cinema, restaurants, etc.

A local Barbados manager (Sarah) will meet all of our guests upon their arrival and she is available on an ongoing basis for any issues that may arise during our guests' stay at the condo and to provide general local information.

Very pretty area but Nothing much to do in the evenings,very dark if you feel like a walk not very many resturants locally.

About the neighbourhood
The property is located in the best location in Barbados (the West Coast) where the swimming is the calmest and safest. It is also located in Sunset Crest that is in the southern part of Holetown (2nd largest town in Barbados). Sunset Crest is also the neighborhood immediately north of Sandy Lane that is one the most exclusive neighborhoods in Barbados and has the Sandy Lane golf facility, a world renowned golf course!

The beach immediately near the condo (7 minute walk) is also the home of a reef that is the main site for snorkeling in the area and hosts numerous varieties of colorful fish and the occasional local turtle. The newly built west coast Boardwalk (December 2013) also runs from the beach all the way up to Holetown and beyond and has beachside bars and restaurants as w...
Getting around
The condo is located one short block from the main beach road that has local buses running both in a southern direction (to Bridgetown) or northern direction (towards Speighstown). The cost of any local bus is BDS$2.00 (US$1.00) per person/per ride and taxi rides are also reasonably priced (make sure you know the rate you will be charged before getting into the taxi).

Taxi ride is recommended to get to the condo from the airport. Our manager (Sarah) can make arrangements to have a local taxi driver (that we trust, is familiar with our condo's location and that we use regularly) to pick up our guests when they arrive.
