Güntersberge is ideally positioned for delightful walks and for visiting places of interest in the Harz region.
There are many cycle routes and walking trails for you to enjoy in summer. Lake Bergsee is excellent for swimming, fishing and boating. You can enjoy cross-country skiing, tobogganing and skating on the area's many small lakes in winter. The Zoo, the summer toboggan slide, the Rübeländer Stalictyte Caves and the 'Western Town' of Pulman City are all highly recommended. Many historic cities are not far. Stolberg is 15 km away, Quedlinburg is 23 km and Wernigerode is 30 km. They are all well worth a visit.
