Cairnbaan, Argyll and Bute, Scotland
This terraced cottage sits on the banks of the Crinan Canal at Cairnbaan, Lochgilphead close to Kilmartin in Argyll and is the sister of Crinan Canal Cottage No8 (almost identical and practically next door).

The Crinan Canal offers the ideal environment to enjoy the wonderful scenery, fishing, canoeing, sailing, horse riding, walking and cycling with many cycle tracks signposted throughout the Glen and plenty of forests and hills nearby should you wish something more energetic. Wildlife includes many woodland birds and birds of prey, beavers in the reserve at Knapdale, red squirrels, red and roe deer, seals, otters and occasionally pine martins.

There is plenty of car parking and a shed to store bikes. The scenery along the canal is stunning and varied - where else can you experience mountains, hillsides covered...
