West Rock Villas are newly built in 2018 & the four 1 Bedroom Villas with fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine) each enjoy romantic canopy beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans as well as quiet relaxation ocean views. While staying at West Rock Villas you also have access to the shared ‘salt water’ swimming pool, which is gentler on eyes & skin and sits within a large sundeck area with Ocean Views & furnished with high quality contemporary & comfortable pool furniture. The Pool illuminates beautiful colours after sunset, an amazing place to chill, swim and enjoy the amazing star formation in the night sky! Each villa is just a dream and are small individual self-contained units that have everything you might need including private entrance and free parking for one vehicle. If you need to keep in touch with the outside world there is free Wifi, and the latest Flat Screen 'Smart' Android 40" TV (Netflix, CNN, BBC and YouTube) for your enjoyment. A Safety Deposit box is located in each Villa for your personal use along with a hair dryer and iron with ironing board. West Rock is situated on a private elevated spot with spectacular views, and a great base for exploring the amazing facilities and amenities that Barbados has to offer. We are located on Upper Mount Standfast Road in the Westmoreland Area in the Parish of St. James in a quiet neighbourhood. We are just up the road from ‘Holetown’ & a wealth of ‘cool’ restaurants & beaches, a world class golf course & tennis facilities are just a ‘stones throw away’. Start the day being amazed by the gorgeous changing colours of the early morning sky reflecting on the ocean beyond from you own private terrace. Prepare breakfast in your well stocked kitchen, with high quality appliances. You can take a short walk down from the villas where you can access the beautiful ‘Alleyne’s Bay’ a lovely stretch of beach with clear turquoise waters ( & sometimes turtles). It’s a wonderful spot for a relaxing soak, swim or snorkel, so bring along your gear! When you are ready for lunch or a refreshing drink, head to Ju Ju’s Beach Bar or the famous ‘Lone Star’ Restaurant, both of which are a few steps away! If you would rather a bit of exercise the Bay stretches all the way down to the ‘Royal Pavillion Beach Club’. Within walking distance is the world class 'Westmoreland' Golf course, and the prestigious 'Sugar Hill' resort is just a 5 min walk around the corner where you can access the tennis facilities and also the 'Carizma' poolside restaurant & bar where everyone is welcome & available for lunch & dinner in a beautiful poolside setting with fabulous Ocean Views. 'Holetown' is just a 5 minute drive where you will find the brand new 'Massy' Supermarket and the upmarket 'Limegrove Lifestyle Centre' featuring high end shops, cool cafe's & bars & a Cinema screening the latest Blockbuster Movies (you can even order food drinks & Champagne at the press of a button & have delivered to your seat) Speightstown is about a 10 minute drive to the north where you can find beachside cafes, bars and the new Hugo’s Restaurant. One Eleven East (111e) is opposite the museum and has a rum punch that is an absolute must-have. Little Bristol down the street, has a band every Friday night that gets the whole place rocking and dancing. Further up the coast you can find the new 'Nicky Beach’. West Rock is in a fabulous location for accessing all the iconic West Coast facilities and stunning beaches. In the evening view the breath-taking sunsets on the ocean, and as the night draws in experience the moon and stars light up the sky! “21 miles long and a smile wide” Barbados holds a very special place in our hearts.
