Holiday Rental House
Panayiotis House is one of our larger traditional stone built village properties. The highest house in the village it sits just below the walls of the medieval castle giving stunning views to the sea from all of its three terraces. The house has been renovated to a very high standard while keeping its original feel and charm. The house is very comfortable, safe for children and well equipped. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful self catering holiday. It is on two levels the lower of which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite. The main bedroom has a large double bed with its own bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has two single beds which of course can be put together to make a large double. The second bathroom has a bath in it. In the large open area at the bottom of the stairs, that lead up to the large living room/kitchen, there is also a built-in sofa/ bed. The bedrooms have air conditioning and fans. The upper level comprises of a spacious Living Room/Kitchen which opens out onto two separate terraces, both of which have marvellous views. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, in fact everything you need to cook at home if you so wish. There is also a washing machine. We provide all sheets and towels including towels for the beach. You can park a car quite close to the house. From the house you can walk down to the centre of the village where you will find a choice of three tavernas, two cafes, and several shops. We also have houses suitable for 2, 4 and up to 10 people. About the neighbourhood
Volissos lies on the North West Coast of the island, 40 km from the main town and the airport. Built on a hill the village spills down from the 11th Century Genoese castle in a cluster of small streets and houses. As you wander round these narrow lanes you quickly realise that Volissos is still very much a traditional village. From the Saddle Maker to the Baker, still baking over his wood fired oven, from the Cheese Maker to the locals returning from the fields on their donkeys Volissos still allows you a glimpse of a vanishing Greece. The villagers are welcoming and friendly treating tourists as visitors. Children will quickly make friends playing in the main square with the local children or just hanging out at one of the Cafe/Bars. Whether you come as a family, alone or as a couple, Vol...
How to get there
Whether you arrive at the Airport or Harbour either our local taxi driver or someone from the car Hire Company will be there to meet you. Once you arrive in the village we will be there to show you into the house.
