The location was amazing with wonderful sea view from the penthouse apartment. All was as described and the beds were very comfy!! Bernadette was a pleasure to deal with and we would love to return.

About the neighbourhood
The name ' Olhos d' Agua ' means ' eyes of water ', it comes from the fresh water springs that rise in the beach.<BR>When you leave the building, you are on a pedestrian street which allows you a direct access to the beach. It offers you numerous snack bars, ice-cream bars and restaurants where you can have an outdoor drink in the terrace to contemplate the horizon. <BR>The pedestrian street continues on a walk lined with palm trees along the beach to arrive at the huts of traditional fishermen with lovely colored boats on the banister of launch. <BR>You do not have more than to take advantage of grilled sardines or seafood platter to the restaurant ' La Cigale ' or simply a ' bica ' (strong coffee).<BR>If you like sport, in low t... more

By air, the international airport of Faro is more or less at 2 hours from all the european capitals. A lot of low cost companies (ryanair or easyjet) offers flys every day along the year.<BR>The airport is 30 mins drive by car. But car is not necessary, there are airport transfers available.<BR><BR>There are local buses travelling between Olhos d'Agua, Albufeira and Vilamoura on a regular basis and a local taxi service on hand day and night.<BR>The Varandas do Mar II apartment is just a 1 minute walk to the safe, golden sands on the beach of Olhos D Agua and 6 km from the Fishermans Beach of Albufeira.
