Delightful stay at Mill Cottage
We really enjoyed our week at Mill Cottage. It is cosy, clean, a little bit quirky and has a bit of character and history with the remnants of the millwheel still in place. It is ideally placed for towns, country walks and beaches. The cottage has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Suzy and Alan made us feel most welcome, not just with the welcome pack, but genuinely welcome. Even Wilbery seemed pleased to see us. Thank you Suzy and Alan for a nice week.

Beautiful building in a lovely location
Our stay in Mill Cottage was a last-minute decision, and we were really lucky to get it. It's a comfortable, well equipped place to stay, with original artwork on the walls and attractive decor. The kitchen is well set-up - easy both to cook and eat in. The living room is cosy and the beds are comfortable. Being an ex-water mill, the design is quirky, which adds to the interest. The hosts are on hand and willing to offer advice when necessary. It's an easy drive into Truro or Falmouth, or a half-hour walk to the station. The mill is also near to a cycle centre, one of the National Cycle Routes, and some great walks along a disused tramway.

A very peaceful and Idyllic accomodation
The mill is situated in the quiet village of Bissoe, in a rural location. Falmouth and Truro are close for sight seeing and shopping. Travelling further a field is the quaint seaside town of St Ives, if visiting it is recommended to park and ride. drive to St Erth and enjoy the scenic view from the train. There are many facilities locally to keep young and mature interested for the holiday.

cosy cottage
Nice cosy cottage in a very nice quiet location. It is very central to visit all parts of Cornwall. There is a big tv if you want it with plenty of programs. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook your own food. Excellent village pub with good food close by. It would be a tight sqeeze for 4 people however. The bathroom is very small and coming out of the shower is not easy as it is above floor level. The beds and bedrooms are quite small. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and for elderly people are a little dangerous. There is good central heating but it would be a little cold in winter. Think it need more of a look over from the owners who are nice people. We found a lot of food in the cupboard which had obviously been there for a very long time.Good place if you like walking.

Just what the doctor ordered!
I picked Mill Cottage because I wanted to be right in the middle of Cornwall, so we could reach everywhere, and this was certainly the ideal spot for that! The setting is beautiful, the cottage extremely quaint and lovely, and the welcome from Suzy and her husband couldn't have been more friendly - imagine, our first Cornish cream tea waiting for us on arrival! (the wine went down a treat too). And lunch the next day, courtesy of a freshly caught fish and a home grown cucumber. Fabulous setting, fabulous cottage and fabulous hosts - couldn't recommend this lovely holiday let any higher - thank you Suzy.

Fantastisches Ambiente in Mühle aus dem 17. Jahrhundert
Absolut empfehlenswert!

We were very happy with our stay
Unfortunately David had to go to Hospital after two days ,suffering from a heart attack.. He was in Truro Hospital for treatment for nine days before returning to Suffolk. He has recovered well and is near back to normal.. Suzy and Alan were very helpful and supportive during this difficult period and we would like to record our sincere thanks to them. In addition we would like to say that we all found our accommodation very satisfactory, clean and equipped with all the right things to make our stay very comfortable Please convey these comments to Suzy and Alan.
