Exceptional Hospitality and Comfort
The hospitality at Villa Russelia was outstanding. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The villa itself was beautifully decorated, combining classic and modern styles. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the serene environment and stunning sea views from every balcony.

Ideal for exploring Rhodes
Villa Russelia served as an excellent base for exploring the island of Rhodes. The Villa's strategic location between Kalavarda and ancient Kameiros made it easy to visit attractions. The spacious garden and pool area were ideal fro relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The Villa's comfortable and stylish interiors added to the overall pleasant experience.

Luxury and tranquility combined
Staying at villa Russelia was a luxury experience. The elegant interiors combined with the beautiful outdoor spaces, created a perfect blend of comfort and style. We particularly enjoyed the private pool and the well-maintain garden, which offered a serene retreat. The villa's location provided easy access to local attractions, making our stay both peaceful and adventurous.

A Peaceful Paradise
Villa Russelia is a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty on the west coast of Rhodes. The combination of a private, peaceful location, beautiful gardens, and a lovely swimming pool with sea views made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

Amazing
Perfect. You cannot fault this one. Everything you would need for a family vacation. Great outside area, big pool, exceptional sea view. The house itself is stunning, you get that home feeling, without being too personal. And then again there are these great hosts. I would definitely come back, and I encourage everyone to not miss a great, great vacation property.

מקום נופש מושלם
בקרנו בוילה ל5 לילת כ10 איש והכול היה מושלם. וילה נקייה מאוד גדולה ומצויידת מעל ומעבר. המקום מדהים ונשקף ממנו נוף עוצר נשימהאין פרט שבעלי הוילה לא חשבו עליו על מנת לגרום לך לחופשה נפלאה. למקום חצר ענקית מוקפת בעצי פרי וגינות מטופחות ובריכה נהדרת. המיקןם מושלם בחלק השקט יותר של האי שאינו עמוס בתיירים. 10 דקות נסיעה מצויים 2 חופים מצויידים בכול האביזור הכי טוב ומתאימים מאוד למשפחות עם ילדים. בעלי המקום נהדרים.

Perfect place to relax and rest from the world
We stayed at Villa Russelia, Kalavarda, Rhodes in July, 2017. Though we went to various places on the island we enjoyed the house and the garden most of all on the whole island. It is a perfect place for relaxation and solitude. We enjoyed a perfect family vacation (2 Moms, 2 Dads, 2 girls aged 5 and 6 and 2 grandmas) with BBQ nights, kids pool plays, volleyball, watching the stars, sunset views every night and fresh fruits from the garden including grapes, figs, lemons and oranges. The house has everything needed for cooking which made it very enjoyable to cook family dinners. For its serenity and beauty I would call this villa a paradise. We would like to thank Maria and Manuel for their hospitality, great Greek food and all the effort they take to keep this beautiful place in such a good condition.

A great vacation
Details of the excellent rest, the villa and its hospitable hosts I will write in Russian: Компанией из 8-ми человек отдыхали на вилле с 1 по 15 июля. По прилету в аэропорте взяли в прокат 2 малолитражных автомобиля. Т.к. приехали на виллу около 9 вечера- Мария (хозяйка) приготовила нам отличный ужин из фаршированных овощей, курицы, салата, вина. Мы были приятно удивлены оснащением дома: в нем имеется огромное количество бытовой техники, посуды, моющих средств. В доме имеется две кухни, 4 холодильника, зона для барбекю. Мебель и сантехника в идеальном состоянии- вилла сдаётся с 2015 года. Хозяева предоставляют для каждой спальни несколько комплектов постельного белья, полотенец, которые меняют каждые 5 дней во время уборки дома. Кроме этого в доме имеются пляжные полотенца, пляжные сумки, фены, термосумки, средства для стиральной и посудомоечной машины и много других нужных вещей. Вокруг виллы растут фруктовые деревья, плоды с которых хозяева разрешают срывать. Вилла расположена на холме, спустившись с которого 500 метров попадаешь на маленький пляж, при котором находится ресторан.Лежаки бесплатные. В 5 минутах езды расположен ещё один пляж с рестораном. На всём побережье Эгейского моря практически всегда был освежающий ветерок. Кухня везде практически одинаково вкусная, недорогая. После обеда мы частенько ездили на пляж Тсамбика, расположенный в 30 минутах езды на побережье Средиземного моря. Море там более тёплое, безветренное и идеальный песчаный пляж. На второй неделе нашего прибывания на вилле Мария привезла нам очень вкусный собственноручно испеченный торт. Хозяева-очень гостеприимные, порядочные люди. Проживание на вилле и общение с ними доставило нам огромное удовольствие. Настоятельно рекомендуем эту виллу!!!

Thought I had died and gone to heaven
Needed a holiday to cut off from outside world, this villa/owners made it happen with their kindness and concern as I was rather unwell for 2 days. Emanuel phoned to check on us and his mom Maria arrived with a homemade meal for us. Their concerns and determination that all was right for us was incredible. I only wish there were more like this family around. Nothing was too much trouble. There was nothing missing. The villa was stunning both inside and the outside grounds which is huge and beautifully kept. Because of the privacy you can achieve hiring a villa, we have hired quite a few, this one was, by far, the best rental ever. We wish the owners all the best on this venture and thank them for allowing us into their beautiful home. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful, spacious, not-your-usual holiday villa - with panoramic sea views, lovely gardens and nooks to relax
We stayed with our extended family at Villa Russelia in April. This is a real gem of a villa - set up a hill around 500m from the road, with large well-maintained gardens around it, and dramatic views out across the sea. It's a proper house (not a turnkey holiday villa) with spacious high-ceilinged bedrooms with balconies looking out over the sunset/sea, and plenty of spots for an extended family to hang out (patio, two balconies, a barbecue area, a reading nook, gardens). We had a number of people who like to cook in the group and the kitchen is super well-equipped for everything. You are on the west coast of Rhodes - which is quieter, more rugged and the villa is just down the road from the key site of Kamiros, and near several nice waterfront restaurants with children's play areas and beach access. Emmanuel was super helpful in making sure we had what we needed for the week, enjoyed ourselves and got tips on where to go. The only limitations to bear in mind for the property might be if you have very young children - the stairs inside don't have a bannister, and of course floors are stone. But there are cribs, baby chairs etc on site, and it's quite possible that by the time I write this review they'll have added some safety on the stairs - since Emmanuel was super-responsive. So, overall very high recommendation for a great spot for an extended family retreat, a quiet venue to be based for a holiday (you're only an hour at max from anywhere else on Rhodes) and to enjoy good food, views and peace-and-quiet.

Villa Russelia rests on the east coast of Rhodes Island, between Kalavarda Village and the site of Ancient Kamiros. It is a picturesque location which combines the magnificent views of green hills with the breathtaking scenery of the Aegean blue. The property is located only 400 m from a sandy-pebbled beach. Nature lovers and sport/exercise enthusiasts from all around Europe choose this location for swimming, kite surfing, walking, hiking and mountain biking. Its crystal clear waters and beautiful sunset view come to be completed by the presence of the imposing peak of Profitis Ilias Monastery. Excellent greek traditional taverns and an organized beach with a beach bar are located within walking distance from the Villa.
Getting around
Since the location is private, we strongly recommend renting a car during your stay. This will also allow you to explore the beauty of the area and access remote beached. You can rent a car for only a couple of days to do some shopping, if you plan to stay in the property most of the time. Please contact us in advance for assistance regarding car rental.

How to get there
The property is located on the west coast of Rhodes between Kalavarda Village and the site of Ancient Kamiros, only 15 km from Diagoras International Airport. During the season, from April – October, many European cities offer direct flights to Rhodes. Alternatively, there are frequent domestic flights from Athens or Thessaloniki to the island throughout the year as well as a fast ferry service from Piraeus to the port of Rhodes. The City of Rhodes with its world-famous medieval city and the main port is only 35 minutes away by car. A trip to Lindos, a picturesque small town with white houses on the east side, also takes about 35 minutes through the forests - a beautiful trip. Transport by taxi or car hire from Rhodes airport or port is possible and best arranged at the time of booking the accommodation. Once you exit Diagoras International Airport of Rhodes you immediately turn right and follow the road all straight towards Kamiros Skala. After approximately 35-40 min drive you will notice “Akrogiali” Tavern on your right hand side and on your left hand side there is a rural road leading to Villa Russelia.
